Autistic son learns how to build a bookshelf

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video not only does my autistic son learn how to build a bookshelf, this may border on heirloom bookshelf. This bookshelf is gorgeous with basically a cutting board top. Eric started his woodworking lessons last project with a basic shoe rack. This is anything but basic. I hope you enjoy watching my Eric, my autistic son, build this awesome bookshelf. This video is also full of great tips for beginners. He certainly does punch autism in the mouth in this video.

I think it's great that not only you want to teach him, but he wants to learn. I tell my little girl, she could study in the trades, if she wanted to.

I love these videos building stuff with your son, Eric! It’s educational, beginner woodworking (which I need!) and detailed enough but not too long of a video. Well done! Keep it up 👍🏼

Great video. I like how you are teaching Eric your trade. 1 suggestion. Get a feather board. Your fingers are close but I know they are out of danger but I think Eric should learn how to use a feather board just in case. Congratulations on the weight loss to. 😄

Agreed. You'll also see some shots with the blade guard and some without. Trying to remember to have all those in place for him but I do forget sometimes.
