Awwwww Adam, this has to be so hard for you. Its hard for everyone, but I cant imagine how hard it is for you not to be able to run around freely. Hugs Adam. You are very blessed to have a loving family that helps you, and cares for you so much.

assalammuailaikum... I think maybe you can invest on a big trampoline for Adam to refrain him from running outside. He can still release all his energy through jumping. Noticed that he loves to do heavy work i. e jogging, running to get the sensory input that he needs.. Other alternatives are, You also can get him to do more heavy work at home to keep him regulated by getting him to carry basket full of clothes from Point A to B, to do wheelbarrow walk( his Feet on the ground to support, daddy or mummy must hold his both leg to walk, letting him do some light mopping, or scrub the toilet floor, play boxing. All this simple activities could help him get his sensory input he needs.. In sya allah.. dengan izin Allah.. Aamiin. ❤️❤️ Love you Adam!

The urge to run is inevitable but the caregiver should protect herself from the rain not to get sick. Parents and caregivers are the foundation to keep life going on the part of Adam. Simple sickness now a days could always get mistaken as Covid. So protect urselves esp Mamarai. Stay safe.

@Seffania Mildred. I agree that should take him for therapy since he was little.l have an autism son too. I send him for therapy since he was 3 years old. He started going to playschool when he was 3 years old. By the time he was 7 years old, i enrolled him to a special school. He learned how to read, write n count in school. He is 17 years old now, he can read, write n count. He can take care of himself.He also can do housework because he is doing housekeeping in school now. He can behave himself .When eating in restaurant, he know how to order n pay for his food. Of course, beside therapy, as a parents, we also have to help,teach n care for our autism son.It's not easy to look after him when he was little but luckily my son is ok now,at least he is independent.
