Hosted by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI Education) and the ACTF, the webinar provides a unique opportunity to hear author Nadia Wheatley discuss her classic picture book, My Place, the importance of writing about our own communities, and how she gets her ideas for stories from the place where she lives. It will engage all young writers and inspire those entering the 2021 My Place Competition as Nadia shares practical tips to develop students’ writing.
