Taiwanese food is so amazing! I just left Taiwan a week ago but will be going back in 3 weeks. I can't wait to try out more Taiwanese foods! I have never been to Taiwan or New York City. The food you showcase is soooo yummy...makes me want to visit these places so much. I am really amazed at all the great Oriental restaurants in New York. I live in the SF Bay Area, but can't really find too many good/affordable Oriental restaurants. Thanks for the great videos, TJ...you sure know how to make a person salivate!! 🤣🤣

The third place looks the most legit.

Yumpling is one of the best. I miss them having a truck that comes near my office. I am not in the LIC area enough to pick up food from them.

Hi TJ awesome video as always. Everything looked really good especially that huge piece of chicken. Probably the only thing I would not want to try is the blood cake things and not really a fan of tofu. I went to a Taiwanese restaurant in Makati with a friend who wanted noodles. Since I love noodles too we went. I have to say I am not a tea fan but the tea they served there was so good I could not stop drinking it. I got a beef noodle dish that was totally amazing. I will be going back there again for sure if I am in that neighborhood. I am currently living in the Philippines and hope to make it to Taiwan for a visit in the future and mostly going to go just for the food it looks so amazing. Keep smiling and stay safe

Been to the East coast TJ but never to NY. Some day 😉👍 One of the things I share with you is the diversity of Los Angeles. Both of us being in big cities there is a lot of different people, food, and cultures. So I am blessed like you in that way. I have to be honest and though I have always had a intrest, I don't believe I have ever had Taiwanese food. You have sparked that intrest in me now and am looking forward to search out some Taiwanese cuisine 😋

Welcome back to NYC, TJ! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Taiwanese food so really enjoyed this video. Already saved all these places in my Google Map to check out. Just one suggestion for consideration - I think the controversial part of your introduction of Taiwan could be omitted or modified. I had a visceral reaction when you said Taiwan is formally known as PRC. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, thanks for another great video.

@@CupofTJ My wife and I and our son actually been in Taiwan when they legalize gay marriage. It was a really emotional time. On the other note before we went there for the first time I watched a lot of your old videos about where to go and what to eat. Thank you. We did a lot of videos there about Traveling in Taiwan 🇹🇼 with our small "gay family" and the love of Taiwanese food.
