If the toddy is consumed as soon as it is extracted it is a plain drink... The longer you keep it... it begins to ferment and that gives you a heady feeling on consumption... It is the fermentation and not alcohol as such...

Tapioca and fish curry combo is great to have👍

Hello! So toddy when is freshly tapped, contains almost no alcohol. It has some yeast in it naturally which causes fermentation and hence alcohol content gets built up over time. Ppl usually prefer the taste of freshly tapped toddy. Also most shops add water, sugar/other additives these days. I’m originally from Kerala. Happy to see you making trips that way!

There will be alcohol percentage of 10 percent . But it is very very good oil for body. One should drink it ..nothing wrong in it. It's nature mother given 🎉

Sir ever person has his own opinion..so please enjoy..you know what is best for you and your family..and about toddy..this is what I got to know from google.. (The alcohol content in fresh toddy was 0.2% V/v and it increased to 4.5% after 24 hours.)..looking forward for your next trip 👍👍

OK Nice ,you guys stop and cook just like village side picnics , I love it. Actually when I go with friends we take a stove and cook at least tea/coffee. I inspired by this family I took stove when I had been to wayanad last week with family, first thing I kept this stove in my car forcibly assuming that we will cook some thing. My wife not event let me take out from the car. I really miss this experience of cooking on travel.

Absolutely love the unfiltered vlogs. Thr three of you really enjoy yourselves on your travels and do it the way you want and is comfortable for you. Forget the negative comments. People have an opinion on everything that doesnt concern them especially

In mumbai its called Nira. Very good for health but must be consumed early morning because as sun rises it gets fermented and by noon it becomes toddy which is alcohol.

Always like the choice of music and of course your drone shots are visual to our eyes

In Karnataka it is called “ Neera”. . The place from where you purchased “Toddy shop” appears a local adda. What you purchased is Toddy and has alcohol . You have to buy this before sunrise OR in the evening after sunset when they get this from the Tree. Avoid going to toddy shops.

Fresh tody is called nira in maharashtra its a power house of calcium. It has to be collected before sunrise. After sun rise it starts fermenting.
