The sambar isn't sweet because that's the way it's made in the Udupi restaurants, which is what most South Indian restaurants in Mumbai are.
Come to varanasi try food of purvanchal
where is this hotel in Mumbai?
Nice
Kerala food👌👌💓
Auvial is not about the bhim sir. Its about the cook. The king asked him to cook the left over vegetable chilkas and waste materials. Its listed in assam's class 5 english book.

Ikd what it's in Assam, but in Kerala mythology Bhim made it during the time when Pandavas were hiding and he was hiding as a cook. But on another note im curious, you guys have avial in Assam?🤧

I'll call it Sambhar.
Throughout the video I felt as if John Abraham was speaking whenever he didn't turn up in the video
What is this pronunciation "Samburr"? It is Sambar. As in bar from Bar and Restaurant. Would you say, Burr and Restaurant? Come on, its 2021!
കേരള 👌food
Sadya- is not necessarily a daily affair - it’s more reserved for special occasions - reason - 1. Money - it costs a lot of money to make a sadya - so no one makes it everyday - 2 , time - it takes time to prep and make all the side dishes and the payasam(Kheer) . So in an average malayali household - rice + 3 side dishes is a typical daily affair + you may indulge a bit more with some papad and achar once in a while . Restaurants are always restaurants - they create their own backstories 😝
Awesome Kerala cusine! Should have rounded it off with some toddy :)

ha ha ha... unfortunately cud not do that ;)
Plz do taste odia food
As a Malayali, I can say that Not all Malayalis eat Fish and cutlet is not even part of Kerala cuisine. We have large number of vegetarians too, unfortunately Kerala's delicious vegan alternative ges stumped out because of its obsession to Fish, Beef and Chicken.

You are just attractive. But you language is too Good. But on plate you are just touch the food. Not explain about it.. You have to show some enjoyment eating the food. Then i felt your channel gains big hit
ARJUN, I WATCH U VISIT DIFFERENT RESTAURANT TASTING ALL THE DELICIOUS MOUTH WATERING FOOD. U R GOOD LOOKING YOUNG DUDE, BUT U SEEM TO BE PUTTING ON WEIGHT, WHICH IS NOT GOOD. SO PLEASE WATCH WHAT U EAT. R U SINGLE OR MARRIED?
Dear Foodie, This is not at all malayali spread. And the owner doesn't even know the story behind avial. jesus!!And sambar and ghee, what is the malayali connection in that.Absolutely flabbergasted after listening to such non existing malayali ways

I was brought up in kerala and am surprised with the addition of ghee to the sambar rice
@suryaprakash-

@@DeeeeV106 Actually it is very Andhra thing to add ghee in rice while having Sambaar, Dal, Podi, Pickles, Kurma curries etc. Ghee cuts down the spice levels in the curries and pickles and brings nice flavor to it.

Most Malayalis these days are multicultural that makes them authentic it is in our culture to travel and adapt.....Ghee is usually added to dal to start a Sadhya meal... everything else on that table was Malayali.

They defiantly missed serving tapioca and fish curry with bird's eye chilli chutney !! 😂 It's a combo unique to Kerala like puttu and kadla curry . Could have served him the changalikodan Nendran Banana or jackfruit halwa or payasam -- again things that are quite unique to Kerala.
not authentic kerala sadya 😡
I don't like it
I love to try new food,,but not south indian ,,,i hate sambar rasam..now i hate the smell also
