I actually happened to use the Autel MX 1-Sensors. You wouldn't believe how quickly a box of 20 came and went, especially winter tire season.

Oh yeah, as fast as I stock them, they are gone... using the dual freq ones saves a lot of headache.

Yeah, it filled up quick. I Would say lean and mean, but it's more mean than lean... working on a rapid expansion.

Can you do this if it’s already installed on the wheel as long as the PSI is 0?

You can activate the sensor. But they typically like to have at least 5lbs to fully activate...

How would you compare this one vs TS508? 508 is cheaper, why did you decide to go with TS601? Thanks.

They both seem comparable, 508 seems to be the newer model, but off the same platform. At the time I purchased, the 601 came with 8 sensors as a kit. Honestly at my time of purchase, the only difference in my opinion.

Can you re learn and register in to the vehicle ecu a new sensor that is not Autel mx brand ? for example i might have a original Renault tpms sensor ot Toyota sensor or ane after market brand ? does it have to be only autel MX sensors ? thanks

You can clone and or read the signal of a sensor that is not Autel. I honestly have not tried. But you should be able to read it, then write it to the ecu. As long as the tpms sensors are pre programmed.

TS601 is not reading IDs from the car if you have broken sensor. On BMW G30 2019.

This tool is designed to work with Autel sensors. You can read any brand of sensor but to program the sensor it must be compatible with the Autel brand. I have learned that another company named CGSulit also sells sensors that are compatible with the Autel tool. The CGSulit TPMS80 is nearly identical to the Autel TS508 except the TPMS80 has a code reader in place of the TS508 key fob activation feature. If you buy a different brand of sensor then ensure that the sensor that you buy has been programmed for the vehicle you intend to install them on.

These sensor technology is nothing but a money grab by corp and a pain in the ass when they fail. Also having Summer and Winter tires and having to switch over every year does not help. Good old tire pressure checkup by hand is much easier cheaper and takes way less time...Having to buy this tool is expensive and hardly worthwhile if you are a layman as you still have to take the tires off testing programming relearning on and on...Ridiculous technology and overkill using "safety" as a way to milk money out of consumers. Not your fault Brian. I am sure there is plenty of fixing that is available to you other than this crap.

All good, I kind of like it on the newer cars and trucks, gives you an exact pressure on your dash per tire. But yeah, I know.

Oh bullshit. People don't typically check tires nor walk around their car before driving. You have people driving around with 18 PSI in their tires because they don't have TPMS. Those with TPMS are generally not more than 5 PSI low if the system is working.

I have TPMS on my two vehicles and my motorcycle. The system have saved me several times by warning me of a puncture before the tire pressure gets critical. It have saved me two times on my motorcycle. Without it I would have been stranded at least twice.
