This whole video is a lie and misleading, you didn't make dealer key and need synchro file, thats why you didn't show it starting

A tip for people that worry about disconnecting the bcm2 plugs,watched another video and all he did was disconnect the battery at that point! :-) Saves possible damage of pins on bcm when replacing connections if you are a bit clumbsy! ;-)

Why you misleading people!? You already had dealer key from the dealer. You can't make dealer key for this car without sync file. So basically you just learning a new key from the dealer, you don't make all keys lost!

They have key from dealer.

I can confirm that a 2012 and a 2013 Audi A6 CS code is retrievable by just simply unhooking the BCM doing cold retrieval and plugging it back up. It calculates and brings the right in and I just snap a picture on the safe side. Key straight off Amazon programmed perfectly.

Were you adding a key or all keys lost? From what I've seen an all keys lost will need the sync data on the 2012+ A6. On top of that the BCM2 are encrypted, has to be removed and the data needs to be read on the bench.

UHS Hardware :D Guys u are kidding? Audi a7 need sync file for make dealer key. Not possible to learn key directly after reading immo data, need to make dealer key first. It is not All key lost procedure. If you buy key key from dealer and it is already precoded than this video is for key learning only not AKL.

Hi, nice video. A question plz. I was trying to add a spare key to my 2013 Audi A1 keyless (24c64 chip) model, but it failed & removed original key as well. Now I cannot switch on ignition. I used im508 with xp400 programmer. It doesn’t communicate with instrument cluster , with blinkers on, headlights on, brake pedal pressed. Does this process require g-box to communicate with dash module? I even used force ignition OBD tool but still no luck. I was able to retrieve immo data from engine ECU but couldn’t communicate with instrument cluster. Look forward to your reply.

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE i only have an IM508. So 508/608 can still calculate cs code for new VW cars by bench? Haven’t seen anyone do a video of that, not even a new guide by Autel. My understanding is its not possible. Maybe you can make a new video about it :)

I watched Curtis from Autel consulting and he did it by removing the BCM2 and doing it on bench with im608 no issue and explained everything very clear With all due respect to Mike as ive learnt heaps of things from him 🙏🏽

I am confused. at what point did you pre coded the key?? can you show how to do that??? we all know you can not program a key without pre coding

Just thinking if you are a locksmith and have call to do a key in any car like bmw , Audi or Range Rover and customer wants to add key or lost all the keys then which key would you program ? As there are 100 different cars and model and all the makes and models have different keys , it’s not possible to have all the keys in stock so what is the way round of it ?

If the vehicle has a slot it will work otherwise no .. but yes the server is down and this function is not available for this model!

Will work with dealer key

This is a dealer key that already contained the synchro data. You CANNOT do AKL on the A6/A7/A8 unless you buy the precoded key from the dealership

@@lupopina3616 Yes, the tool can make a "dealer key" by precoding the CS data into the key. Where do you propose to get the synchro data though? The A6/A7/A8 need that additional immo data that the IM608 CANNOT calculate.

@@RocketSurgeon540 yes it’s a severe pain in the ars. You have to do a lot to actually unlock the BCM2 but then you only get one part of info. They want you to read the ecu(bench), steering lock(bench) and possibly the tcm (bench). astronomical amount of work

Can the IM608 do this using only the XP400 no J2534?

Haha …you can make dealer key with akl too MAN…you tutorial is wrong! This way car never start,you have to read bcm2 data obd then make dealer key and then learn Key will never learn without a dealer key,you don’t know how to do it, I prefer to use Vvdi2 on this car , I have autel too but I prefer vvdi2,is more faster and more safe! Next time do the right tutorial and not this fake one…

You would probably have to remove the cluster .. but than again you probably would want to upgrade programmer .. do you have gbox2??

This video is extremely misleading. You're putting people on a path to where they think they can make a key for this vehicle all-keys-lost purely through OBD in 10 minutes. If you have a blank key, you need to program it with the synchronize data which involves the ELV and BCM2 data. You state that you want to teach people everything about car keys yet you leave the most crucial step out.

Update, some models require bcm2 reading on bench and that's it. I'm able to get synchronized data through only that. 2012 Audi A6 I'm able to get synchronized data purely through OBD all keys lost... Definitely not with the IM 608.
