I ordered myself a big evo combo kit w/ 2 extra batteries and the quad charger plus 2 more batteries for Christmas. Can’t wait to get neck deep into it.

RE: Your comment about the EVO not being supplied with a USB-A to Lightning cable. I heard on an earlier review that Autel said since they were NOT an Apple supplier, they were not allowed to include their merchandise. I call BS on this because all DJI drones come with a custom Micro USB-Lightning (among others). Autel just isn't trying hard enough. I am still trying to find a USB-A to Lightning cable with angled connectors for both connectors, that isn't long enough to hog-tie a steer! I have a short one for my Anafi, but it is too short for the Autel to iPhone, since the connector is on the top on the Anafi and the bottom on the Evo! I prefer not to wind the extra cable around the controller.

Great review. I have been trying to decide between the autel Evo and the mavic 2 pro. I'm going to go purchase the autel Evo tomorrow thanks to this in-depth review. Sounds like a better deal . Plus I don't like the idea of a company in China tracking all my flights the way dji does. Look forward to more videos.

Hey Rayson! In all seriousness I want to say I genuinely appreciate you watching and finding this video helpful. I truly made it for the person(s) looking to buy this drone seriously. And for that person this review wouldn't be "too long" I wanted to share as much as I could so someone could get all info and compare. And say "wow okay it weighs this much... It's dimensions are this so it's this size compared to that... Hmm okay that's the camera quality... That's how the controller works" etc. I truly believe the more insight someone has on something even the small details, helps them make their decision. At least that's how I feel. The super short vague reviews didn't "convince me" to go out and spend 1k USD but a certain review or reviews triggers that purchaser instinct. Also I agree they track where is autel doesn't know anything about your flights unless you willingly give them that info. Also I don't like the idea of spending 1500-1800 for dji for no fly zones. You spend all that money and how much can you really use it for traveling or professional use? I've heard stories of people not able to do their shoots or please their clients cause it either had a super long update or that area they were shooting in was a no fly zone. I think you'll really be happy with it. I have 2 other videos on it, I'm working on a in depth episode this weekend if the weather cooperates.

Wow that's great to here! This and the Air are close in price and this is quieter and more premium and has better range etc etc than the Air so I think it's definitely more worth it to get the Evo. Hey, thank you so much for subscribing and watching hope my future content doesn't disappoint. :)

Good review. You have to be the only EVO or other drone demo video that HAS calibrated controller and gimbal pre flight. Most never do.

Nice review, very informative. Not sure why but your power button on the controller should be illuminated green. No big deal but I've noticed some do and some dont.

Yeah wanted to give as much info as I could. Too often have I heard people asking what's the weight, is my phone compatible, does it have this mode/feature etc. So I wanted to make sure after watching this they leave with a lot of information. Oh I'd still highly recommend it. I still have it and fly it over other drones. Grabbed the Evo 2 as well.

Drone hero yen,just got the 4 hawks shot range extender in. I gyess 4 miles out isnt far enough. I herard you say you were sticking with your stock antenna,have you had the chance to try a 4 hawks out on anything else? If so what do you think?the range extender is for my evo.

I purchased my EVO 6 months ago. I would like to know has the antenna swivel pins been up graded? Cause thy will brake after a period of time with normal use.

Good video but OMG lose the cocktail lounge music. What you didn't mention is the terrible quality of the body and arms plastic which is prone to cracking. My Evo looks like it was in a dogfight with an A-10 Warthog and I have treated this thing like glass. Autel needs to address this plastic quality issue along with the antenna pin issue that you mentioned.

Everyone isn't going to have the same taste in music. Sorry you disliked it, I love that style of music. And I didn't mention the arms cause I and many many others haven't had any issues with bad arms, or degrading/cracking arms. Maybe yours was a rare occurance or something. I've been flying mine constantly since I've purchased it and it's been reliable with no physical or technical issues yet. And my pins haven't tried coming out "yet" but I'm sure eventually they will. I may be installing the 4 hawks antennas soon.

@@DenonGregory I was just teasing you about your music. I have had my Evo for a year now. My antenna pins broke, both side vents have fallen apart and cracks appeared above the vents that I had to reinforce. All of this with no crashes, no rough treatment, and putting the battery on properly while holding the drone. There are other threads in some of the autel groups of arm cracks and whatnot. All of this said, I've had numerous flights on it and it flies great with the damage being cosmetic.

That freaking sucks. :( I hope it is a rare occurance. Is autel able to like fix it or anything like that?

When did you purchase your evo I bought mine about 2 weeks ago and did not get that deal from bestbuy

I bought mine on Friday. It's on our website. The guy was giving me attitude like I didn't know what I was talking about. If I didn't show him it came with the bundle he was just going to sell me the drone as is. No one in the store new about the drone section or the sales. So I said look right here on your website it comes with the GC, shutter fly, and the to go bundle. He insisted that it was a bundle I had to buy separately, finally he went into their system and seen he was wrong and ordered my bundle since they were sold out.

You're welcome. If you go on best but website and search the Evo and out it in your cart it should say 4 items in car, and 3 free items cause it's adding the drone plus the 3 free items.

I’ve noticed BB puts the EVO BUNDLE on sale about every two weeks or so , I just follow the BB sale page and refresh it every once in awhile to see if it’s on sale.

Yup best buy has them. I wanted that deal and I wanted it right away. I didn't like the idea of my Evo being shipped. And yes I was super happy haha.
