I think it's about time we have a royal commission to investigate all polititions for corruption & going against our rights, dogs & cats have more rights then is, l live out in the rural area where there is no food bank, nothing to get assistance, what can l do

There was no doubt that last night's Budget didn't have a vision for the country or for the people who continue to be hurt by a Party that really doesn't care. There's much that could be said about the political landscape (even State-based) but when do we all say enough is enough. The ALP is a political animal and you only have to notice the appalling games that are being played out in Brisbane, Queensland by the CFMEU. The ALP will never learn from it's previous mistakes and I'm very concerned at how we are going to deal with our ever-aging population. Our health system/s are in crisis and yet, I don't want to see the Commonwealth end up like Victoria but sadly, if we see a change in government, it's not going to be good road moving forward and more importantly, reducing the debt level. Does one really think that the ALP has the heart to do the right thing by Australians? The federal government won't freeze the immigration intake level and the words that come out of the government's mouth are questionable.

A cold beer, petrol, private health insurance, a nice steak, a short holiday, a Friday night takeaway, mortgage, electricity bills. The list goes on for impoverishing the middle class battlers under the ALP. LNP no better.

But we don't get the $300 in one lump sum , it's $75 each quatrer . It's good she will donate her's but as a pensioner i have to look after myself fisrt , just like everyone else . Politions don't need it .

Lets give billionares a $300 electricity rebate. Yay. Chalmers had a chance here and blew it. Also hes really gone out on a limb by claiming inflation will drop under 3 percent by the end of the year, if it doesnt happen and then theres another interest rate rise before then , hes cooked.

Well done Australia! You voted for this! To remedy, you need to throw out Labour, the "DO NOTHING" Teals, and get rid of the Greens. The best course is the Coalition combined with One Nation. Keep buying those Chinese cars Australia. All proceeds to the Chinese Military!!!

Underlying inflation is still too high. Tax cuts and household payments will sweep headline inflation under the carpet but it will will reappear in a or so. We can expect an early election.
