As an American dating an Australian, this is so entertaining. We’ve also had the shrimp vs prawn debate lmao.

I love Jez, not only is he hilarious but he's very respectful and never interrupts the other guys. Would like to see him return to a future GG/EZ

I also live in Colorado, and one day, at night, I was out with my friends riding bikes, and my mom had taken my dog out for a walk. When she came back there was a huge rattlesnake curled up in our front yard. My dad was out of town on a business trip, so my friend called his dad, who came down the street with an ice pick and chopped it’s head off. Wild

Based on stuff talked about in this episode, a couple of fun facts about Australia. - Redback spiders aren't all that bad. The Sydney funnel web spider is probably the worst we have(there's probably a worse spider yet to be discovered in the desert or some rainforest somewhere). - Kangaroos are cute, but as Jez said, they are a pest, and can be deadly with their kicks. Also, they have been known to draw attackers(dogs, dingoes) to water to drown them. - Rounding up, Australia is 7.7 million square kilometres, while America is 9.8 million square kilometres.

Some of my cousins live in Australia. Tbd first time they came to my house, they asked me to make them some burgers on the barbi. I was so confused and ever since then they have all made attempts to speak more american like while they visit. It is pretty funny to see them try to change their way of speech.

I think this depends on the company you work for. I've had heathcare packages that weren't worth the cost and some that were God tier. If the company pays for you to have adequate coverage, you can afford it and still not go bankrupt

As an aussie, I only recently learnt that Americans don't know what 'maccas' or 'bottle shop' means.

I'm with Blue and Rhab on the senses thing, cause there is very few times where I go out of my way to smell something nice but I do go out of way to eat good tasting food. Also I feel like I would hate eating in general after that because there have been sometimes when I am eating bad tasting or just tasteless food where I start to notice how gooey the food feels in my mouth after chewing it and that makes me wanna vomit. But that doesn't happen when I eat food which has adequate amount of of any kind of taste in it maybe I because I get lost in the taste. So I would rather lose my sense of smell than no taste food ever and have to pay attention to the feeling of gooey stuff in my mouth which also make me almost vomit most of the time.

As an Australian I can confirm that prawns, specifically grilled garlic prawns go on the BBQ and we don’t really do cocktail sauce as much as Americans, tartare sauce is more popular

I lived in America for 12 months. Almost every time I met someone new and they heard I was Australian the next words out of their mouth were "throw another shrimp on the barbie!" or "that's not a knife" It was entertaining but a drag when I had to explain we don't call them shrimp for the 50th time

Rhab's accents hurt me

Ambulance cover in Australia is 40 bucks per year and you don't pay anymore. However its crazy expensive if you don't have that.

In regards to the cost of medicine, I believe that a lot of it comes down to patents so there isn't a wide selection of companies making generic versions of it. A lot of other countries don't have the same patent process that we do so they have a lot more options. Still, it's insane how much everything in healthcare costs.

As someone who doesn't smell very much, due to my allergies, swollen adenoids, and deviated septum, I say that losing smell isn't that bad. Life without smell is great in a lot of ways, but at the same time I would love to smell food.
