I have completely lost faith in these kind of police units as the risk they present to the community in present day outweighs the benefits they bring. Seeing how dangerous general duties cops and riot squad can be when misused by political totalitarians brings to light the necessity for the citizen to have the right to bear arms and for units such as these to be liquidated until the police stop behaving like terrorists.

Actually that is incorrect, the Public Order & Riot Squad (PORS) falls under the NSW Police Tactical Operations Group (TOG which is TOU, TORS, NEGS & PORS) which does actually mean PORS is a tactical command in the NSW Police Force (also mb for late response)

No it’s not it’s the AFP SRG team which is Australia’s Police Special Forces who are known to do the Same selection and training as the SASR as well as teaching them Cqb and HALO jumps

If I were to become a soldier I would first assess and analyze that which I am fighting for if its worthy in my eyes of being defended. So if you fight for country is the countries governance system and the people's integrity in it worthy of my defense, after all if its a dog eat dog community well I am not defending that, together with many other aspects.

This is why the SRG, TRG, STAR, SOG units which form the PTG exist. The Army has TAG-East (2nd Commando Regiment + Clearance Divers) and TAG-West (Special Air Service Regiment) to respond to serious acts of terror that the police can't deal with or acts of terror offshore

@@difficultinterest1582and the AFP SRG are allowed to deploy overseas and they mostly work overseas hunting fugitives doing drug busts and eliminating/capturing anyone who the Government wants where as the TAG teams are specialised military police who aren’t quite as well trained as the SRG but are still pretty good since the SRG is known to teach and Train the Tag teams as well as SASR teams CQB and CQC tactics and halo diving

if the government is not going to include emotional management and intelligence together social and societal intelligence to our children in primary and high school, I'm sorry but in my eyes the government is as guilty as that citizen whom murdered someone out of actions of anger cause they didn't know how to process that anger constructively. why is the government guilty also, they are because they can prevent it by educating the children and not have them turn into monsters from their emotional trauma in life.

Police still need to remember that they are in effect dealing with mere civilians and that they are not in any way close to being that of a military soldier, so remember to go easy with civilians most are just scared that don't know how to manage themselves or their logic during threatening situations and that a police officer drawing a weapon against them even in self defense is still seen as a threat to that civilian. So go easy on the kids as that is what they are even though they are classed as an adult.

I’m pretty sure the SRG don’t deal with civilians but terrorist instead. They also are known to deploy overseas and have quite a bit of controversy surrounding Raiding and Assassinating a Syrian military general and killing 32 Syrian commandos as well as 7 Syrian policeman and 2 civilians which makes sense since they are special forces and are known to train the SASR in halo jumping and cqb tactics

Nick Ryan tactical response to what threat. This is all just a political hype to incite fear into the general population. In no way does tactical response make me feel safer in any way shape or form. Education you talk about is really indoctrination into a society full of fear. This definitely reminds me of the beginnings of nazi Germany. Remember my words, acting under orders is still a crime as by the Nuremberg trials. To top it off it’s all just acting isn’t it, you promote a problem the act to remedy it. Great for the educated/ indoctrinated sheep to feel safer from a non existent problem.

If police want to tackle the drug problem in society, then they should tackle the reason in which people start taking them primarily which is to camouflage their pain, trauma and inheritant dysfunctionalities from their families growing up. Resolve and cure dysfunctional families and communities and you might put a dint in the drug problem our specie has. Unless our governments tackle this problem in our communities by teaching emotional intelligence and social/societal intelligence in schools as we grow we will never make an impact on people commencing using drugs.

As defined by the dictionary- Terrorism: the systematic use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and there by bring about a particular political objective.Terrorism has been practiced by political organisations both leftist and rightist objectives, by nationalistic and religious groups, by revolutionaries, and even by state institutions such as armies, intelligence services and police. So I dare say this is would fit that description. A tad a little over done and in your face.
