Australian PM slams 'arrogant billionaire' Elon Musk amid censorship row • FRANCE 24 English

A war of words is escalating between the Australian government and the owner of X, with PM Anthony Albanese calling Elon Musk an "arrogant billionaire who thinks he's above the law" in response to Musk's social media comments accusing the Australian government of censorship. The spat stems from X's reluctance to comply with an order from the country's internet regulator to take down footage of last week's alleged terrorist attack in Sydney at a church. We take a closer look.

I have respect for Musk.Sorry to say the Australian prime minister is ignorant and arrogant. A violent act was committed by a boy belonging to one religious community. Why should this violent act be covered up under a carpet? This violent act exposes the govt of it's foreign policies regarding immigrants.

As an Australian I find it stupid, the government is only doing this becuase Elon is more conservative leaning, it has nothing to do with safety, it’s about limiting free speech

If Australia can dictate what the rest of the world can see, well why China shouldn't have that right too? Australian politicians have lost their mind.
