There wasn't a single party,barbecue,pub nightclub or school disco that didn't crank out the Aus crawl back catalogue back in the 80s Every song was summer on vinyl

I love the sound of an all Fender band.

I kid you not, my 19 year old son (who is well used to my promotion of 80's music but not a push over) loves this and plays along on his electric guitar 🎶🎼🎵

The wonderful world of trying to understand whats sung. Evan as Aussies we had stacks of trouble understanding James Reyne's vocals.

James has his own slang but I've got this song on my ipod in 2021 because its genuine aussie talent. - timeless.

Australian Crawl with this lineup was a real cohesive unit. Right from the commencement your drawn in to an exciting song. No pretensions and I like them for their interpretation of their own song. Long may it live.

I’ve always loved the song, and 1, wouldn’t have a clue what he’s saying, and 2, I only found out the title today. And I’m an Aussie who listened to it when it came out.

This song to me is when I went to Cronulla beach in the early 80,s. Those were the days.

Ah, the convoluted path that brings a new favorite. Pandora put this on my Died Pretty station. I have a Died Pretty station because in the middle of a winter's night not too long after Lost was released, a DJ at the radio station of the College of William and Mary put Caesar's Cold on while I was working night shift security in Williamsburg.
