Yep as I always thought. Simon Binks was a damn good Aussie rock guitarist. There are many great examples of his work on crawl songs- things don’t seem maybe my favourite. He favoured the strat and played it well.

the complete thing is shot 16mm it did not have any station logos on it. do you know where this was shot?

Often thought that myself,but I read somewhere Reyne was around a little earlier than Cummings.They could pass as brothers though,they have the same style.

@@darrincassidy9045 I think Cummings (ex Pelaco Brothers with Joe Camilleri ) is 3 years or so older than James Reyne and started recording around 1974. Australian Crawl started in 1978.

@@ThePhotofit cheers David, Elvis Costello has the same sort of style to, Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons were a top band so were the sport's.We had the best of it here in the late 70s to the mid 80s, everything went pear shaped after that,I often wonder to myself where the talent went to, band's like Crawl, Angels,Chisel, Dragon,Rose tattoo and a few more should have been world beaters.

@@darrincassidy9045 Can’t argue with any of that. Interestingly, on Elvis Costellos recent record (recorded live in the UK I think in the late70’s, he does a cover of a Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons track, ‘So Young’ do you are right on the money with your comparison!
