Bushwalking in the Australian summer heat up to a ridge line on the Mount Cougal trail in Queensland.
With stunning 360 degree views of the mountains and the ocean, the risk of long grass, snakes and spider bites was worth the reward.
After, I head back down to a less crowded section of a fresh water river to cool down from a solid few hours bush bashing in the midday heat.
