This summer, #UW Badger Amelia Taylor, studied abroad in Australia through our UW Disability Rights and Access in Australia program!
This is why she chose this program:
"During my 4 years at UW, I have been an intern at United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County and at Gigi's Playhouse for individuals with Down Syndrome, worked as a respite provider for an individual with autism, and also helped for various events through Special Olympics. So one of my goals while on this program is to contribute to my cohort and the people we meet by sharing insights gained from my experience working with individuals with disabilities."
