I don't think SLIIT has a foundation year program. You can look into other private universities that offer foundation year programs.

You can find this here: immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list If software engineering is under skilled occupation list, you will have no problem finding a job. This list changes from time to time, so you will have to check this at the time of applying.

You don’t have to be RICH to get into SLIIT. Because SLIIT offer scholarships if you have good AL results and then if you score good grades in every academic year. I know students who have received these scholarships through out the degree from start to finish.

If you have a poor dad, try to get good grades (above 3.8 GPA) for every semester. SLIIT will give u half and full scholarships based on your grades. So you can come study here for FREE

For example AI can automate repetitive tasks in software development, such as code generation, testing, and bug detection. At the same time, there is an increasing demand for engineers with expertise in AI, machine learning, and data science. This is why I said data science will be a better specialization considering the current trend.
