Hi Lucas, I actually created this park. It's trippy browsing youtube and finding a video about something you made. Was awesome to hear such positive feedback though. 😀 I'm so glad it took you and your viewers to such a nostalgic place; I am still so dismayed that they sold it off. I didn't work there, just visited the place loads through my childhood. This park was recreated using many, many images and videos sourced online; not to mention 100s of hours of work.

Oh wow that’s so awesome that you found this video. Your recreation of Wonderland was mind blowing and it really did send me on an emotional memory lane voyage. Thank you so much for your efforts. For me, it totally paid off.

@@TheAGExp that's so nice to hear. I made it with that intent; to take people back to a happier time and as some sort of virtual keepsafe for those who have experienced it firsthand and those of us wanting to share it with those that havent. If you dont mind I might share this video on the wonderland history facebook group whose members helped source photos, maps etc for the build. I think those without planet coaster would love to see it.

@@paulm3073 Absolutely mate. Go ahead and share. I can’t remember if I mentioned it in the video, but when I heard of your recreation of Wonderland, I purchased Planet Coaster for the sole purpose of loading up your Park. Otherwise, I don’t really have an interest in that game. Totally worth it.

@@TheAGExp oh wow that's impressive, love the commitment. I'm really glad the park lived up to your expectations now, otherwise that would have been a waste of a purchase. Ha

Went there, once as a kid as part of a school excursion. It was the only time I went there.. This is how I remember it. It really brings back the memory of the place. :’)

That sign with the hulk & spiderman is in a junkyard in Londonderry. :(.... omg I'm tearing up.. I loved wonderland so much... I didn't see the vintage cars.. I cry every time I see the pictures after it closed. Some of The Gondalas were saved & brought by members of the wonderland fb page.

Oh wow! You were in the original pirate stunt show! That’s awesome mate. Those shows were my favourite. I loved watching the fighting and the dives off the crows nest into the water. Thank you for your efforts and entertainment.

I have also been to the Junkyard to cover the Sega Word Sydney statue that is rotting away in that yard. I have pics I’ve taken of the Spider-Man and Hulk archway that’s at the junkyard. Shame the owner won’t sell any of it.

If I remember correctly, @19:04 the stripe-roofed building next to the Hanna Barbera Rainbow was one of the concert stages. I saw many acts perform here especially those between 1991-1994. One of the most memorable was Right Said Fred at the peak of their fame when "I'm Too Sexy" was at the top end of the Oz charts. 2 Unlimited also did a show there. And Im pretty sure bands and popstars would also perform on the pirate ship stage and everyone around the entire Medieval Land lake area could watch the show. This was usually reserved for the really huge local acts at the time that could draw crowds bigger than the stage near HB Land could accomodate. Almost certain pop group Girlfriend performed on the ship or the piers beside it. The crowd there that day for them was massive and stretched as far as the eye could see in every direction!

It got old after a while, we used to go there when I was 13, we would go every weekend because a friend of ours lived down the road from it in Mt Pritchard, I really miss it, now all Sydney has is the STUPID small Luna Park. We need more fun parks in Sydney. The Goldcoast has it all now.
