Australia Nature Documentary 4K | K’gari (Fraser Island) | Wildlife and Natural History

Off Queensland's eastern coast, 250km North of Brisbane is the island of K’Gari (formerly Fraser Island), the largest sand island on earth. K’gari is a spectacular natural wonderland.
In this documentary we explore K’gari’s diverse landscapes, from crystal lakes to towering rainforests to sprawling sand-blows and everything in-between. We learn about the forces of nature that have created and continue to shape K’gari today. We meet many of its natural inhabitants, including Dingoes, Monitor Lizards, Pythons and turtles along with resident bird species. We also meet marine mammals including Humpback Whales, Dolphins and Dugongs.
If you have a love and fascination for the natural world then we are certain you will enjoy this documentary.

Always an immersive experience, the phenomenal talents of Phil Selmes never fail to feed the viewer with not only an educational involvement but also, a visual feast of Australia's and indeed, natures incredible and unique ability, to continue to evolve and thrive under astonishing and seemingly unlikely circumstances. "K'gari" is yet another superb documentary, once more beautifully filmed and researched, sewn together into a story-tellers tapestry. Culminated with the magnificent vocal tones of narrator, Steve Chambers, once more Phil delivers impressions and insights with maturity, suaveness and sophistication. Another documentary to be proud of, it is an adventure into Australia's individuality combining truth and beauty through the eye of an artist.

After a stopover in Sidney to Vanuatu and having time to visit the Blue mountains and walk the gorge to the bottom which was amazing I found the whole series to be most enjoyable and worth the time.. It is the kind of series that anyone going to visit Oz should watch with a viewpoint of visiting some of these sights. For myself having watched other series like Bush Tuker Man and Outback Rangers Oz definitely has much to offer the wildlife visitor. So Thanks.

Thanks for watching, I understand the sentiment. As long as we can all respect these places and leave them exactly as we found them I don't see a need to stay away. The natural world feeds my soul, I'd hate to think of a day where we are prohibited from accessing it. Cheers Phil

Sir, i just came across your channel and its fantastic what you are able to achieve without professional crew. i admire the enormous effort that goes into making this, it cant be made if it wasent for love of doing this. i am an engineer and would love to start on telling nature stories. May i know what gear do you use? (camera/drone). Also i am very curious on your writing. Do you write before you visit a location or you write after you shoot im post? How did you get the drone shot and underwater shot of a whale and baby? sorry for many questions. You are a naturalist as much as a filmmaker. I wish i can be an assistant and learn from you sir😊
