I think so too! I have very much enjoyed Taku's blog over the years but now that Taklyn is involved more promently, she has added a very nice quality to an already special channel. Great work you guys!

Kia ora Taku and Jocelyn. Good to see you enjoying some of the places and adventures Australia has to offer. I've lived in parts of Australia, very different to New Zealand but it has so many beautiful places to visit as well. One of my favourite things to do in Western Australia is catching giant mud crabs,so yummy. I also loved fishing for my favorite Australian fish to eat, the beautiful barramundi. So yummy. They can get up to 60lbs but the biggest I ever caught was 17lbs which was so yummy. Keep enjoying life and each other guys cause life's to short. Love that you take us along on your adventures. Keep vanning.

Driving on the beach boi that brings back memories of outback driving with my dadda from when I was a little girl to high school years. Been to Fraser island also and saw that shipwreck. Was awesome. I know exactly what it's like to travel around the country it's so much fun :D

Omgsh you were at Fraser !!! 😮 the rental is expensive because of inflation and also Fraser is a big tourist attraction especially for campers and 4WD Next time you visit you must go to Tasmania (I live in Brisbane) but tassie is untouched and beautiful

I went to Frasier Island in 1996, they had a 4x4 bus back then that took you to all the cool spots in one day, booked it as a tour out of Harvey Bay and it was like around 100 bucks total for me and my now ex-wife....that included the ferry as well. Not sure if they still do that though....looks more touristy now. We we went up to the lake there was no one there except us....

Try visiting the Northern Mariana Island's.

Rightio your in Brisbane was wondering which state you was in :) I've been across the whole country traveling with family. Throughout past years. My fam are from Adelaide, tassie and England. So most live is Brisbane and Adelaide both my favorite states :)

You should hire the rental of the 4x4 car in the mainland instead of in the island. The car rental will provide tents and you can stay for 2 days 1 nite. The Sand Dunes are beautiful and fun.

Yep - 1 Cup Rice, 2 Cups Water, ~14 minutes in the Microwave on High. Sufficient bowl size to prevent clean up.

We got ours through AAA in the US. Some countries only accept international licenses. Something to keep in mind if you ever rent a car elsewhere!

if you have a US drivers license and you're over 18, you can just apply for one and pay a fee and get it.

@@kennytieshisshoes Yes, works in most countries. Australia and NZ accept regular drivers license from the US but I needed to get the international license for Japan.
