The Canada story is not true! It's colleges that have turned 'international' students into a source of revenue. The federal govt is not 'inviting' them, and are currently making some changes to restrict the flow and limit some work p-ermits. The Chin-e-se home buyers in Vancouver area are mostly "washing" their money there, and have priced out the locals. By the way, the last name is Trud'eau' (sounds 'o' at the end, not 'e')

I keep saying if we have selfless leaders in Africa who thinks about the betterment of the people, the development of the country and we have citizenry who brains 🧠 functions very well, citizens who have common sense to think , good hearted people, trust me Africa is the best place to live on this planet earth. Our major problem is bad leadership, the citizens lacks common sense and some africans brains 🧠 aren’t functioning well, greed, corruption, religion, tribalism, democracy and evil minded people, These are some of our major challenges

Doc with all due respect I disagree with your assertion about gdp ,pci, and ppp. The globally accepted definition of the best economy in the world is through your gdp, not ppp. The ppp only measures the cost of living between two countries. For example, if I have one dollar to spend in the US or Ghana or China which if these countries can that one dollar command more goods and services or give me the needed utility I want to derive from that one dollar? Probably Ghana or China because the cost of living in these two countries are relatively lower than America but is that an absolute reflection of the standard of living in that country? Absolutely not. This means that things are cheaper in China if you’re talking in dollar terms but it doesn’t make China the best economy in the world . What is China’s pci? Is even less than $15,000 so China is not considered a developed economy. Even their gdp is still shrinking and the projection that was made a decade ago that China will overtake the US to become world’s biggest economy has been reversed to somewhere year 2060, whereas other economists and economic models have predicted that it’s not possible for China to overtake the US at all.Hence , the use of gdp and per capita income of nations assess the overall economic situation of that country. So America remains the best economy in the world regardless of any metric you use . Yes, America owes a lot of debt but the debt is owed to who and in what currency is the debt owed , and who prints that currency ? These Americans are too smart and they are far ahead of the rest of the world “. Out of the ten richest people in the world, 9 of them come from America . Out of the 20 richest people in the world about 15 of them are from America. Do you know why ? Even the best and richest schools in the world are found in America . Harvard alone is richer than all the universities put together in the UK. University of Texas system alone is richer than all the universities put together in Australia. America is capitalism and capitalism is America, and capitalism is the only economic ideology that has ruled and survived for over one hundred years. These Americans replaced gold with the dollar and what was the rest of the world doing? I’ve traveled across the globe and I can tell you that there’s no country in this world that will come close to America . It’s a fact. Take it or leave it but we need to give respect to whom respect is due. Thanks
