This lovely Austin was built only six years after Britain had emerged from WW2, the first signs of Britain's recovery.

What a magnificent example of Austin at its best. The paint work, the wax & polish, a labour of love. Thank you for sharing.

I would always stop and admire these cars back in the day, very impressive, I would stop dreaming and get back on my bike.

Lovely colour steering wheel! And that art decor dashboard, with those beautiful gauges! My favourite limousine, and Austin's finest car!

I was an apprentice at this time, starting with the A35, finishing with the Austin Sheerline and Princess. When I think of the spare parts, that I’d thrown away then.
