I never get tired of this. I love this band.

I was watching public broadcasting when they first aired it.. This is why we need public broadcasting. I would never know and now follow Thoa and the Get Down if I hadn't seen this. They're certainly something you're NOT going to hear on pop radio, yet they are an exceptional and wonderful performance.

Same! I was up really late at night when it came on. I had the TV muted, but she was performing with such enthusiasm that I turned up the volume and was blown away by her talent. She became one of my favorites right away.

I saw Thao play in a tiny packed bar in Madison a few years ago. She talked to me for like 20 minutes and gave me a hug. A good day. :)

This is such a great performance and great sound mixing. Thao is so talented.
