This takes me back 60 years to fettling my 1927 A7. I was watching the box being unpacked and hoping to see a Bowdenex brake kit😂. Thanks for bringing back my youth.

Hi Tom, I'm slow to get caught up on videos... It's interesting to see you lifting and holding parts for the little beast. It shows the scale of the vehicle well. That type 30 in the shop is stunning. :) It sure looked like you enjoyed that drive in Simon's car.

Hello joe Yes the drive was good fun! Yeah it is small thankfully! 😅 with the boat tail I’m making and the slightly longer front this will be one of the longer ones lol 😂

Been ages since I did mine, but what I do remember is fighting the brake springs.

Amazing progress!!! Simon seems to know how big a hammer for each bit. Engine looks like it belongs in there and I love those rear chassis extensions. The one but I winced at was driving without goggles, or cycling glasses, or what I use cycling which is Toolstation safety specs.

good progress - would have liked and explanation on what you were doing to the clutch release arm and also what was being welded when you were lying under the front end...

Thanks I was welding up the new radius arms and the clutch release we were swapping over to the more modern style as this was a replacement gearbox and had an older style in it.

Excellent progress. Looking forward to more videos. The Austin 7 seems well supported with replacement parts. Just curious what product you chose for chassis primer? Also, would like to know and see more about the friction shocks.

Excellent! All coming together nicely, can't wait for the body to take shape again. I wonder if thats the same engine type I had in my Reliant mk6 van decades ago?
