A very special opening event of the "Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away" exhibition, now open in Union Station’s Bank of America Gallery.
Tonight's presentation includes remarks from Ramón Murguía, Union Station Board Chairman, George Guastello, Union Station president and CEO, Ambassador Ronald S. Lauder, President of the World Jewish Congress, Dr. Piotr M.A. Cywinski, Director of Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, Luis Ferreiro, Musealia CEO and Exhibition Director and Dr. Michael Berenbaum, Exhibition Curator.
Union Station is honored to be one of only two U.S. locations hosting this important international exhibition. After leaving Union Station, the exhibition returns to Europe.
