Well, any of you fans out there should know that I was lucky enough to be the Assistant Director on this Video. We shot at Carnegie-Mellon's "Robotics Lab" because they had awesome drone technology. Aurora was accompanied by her two sisters who help with her Hair/Make-Up and Wardrobe. They were ALL the nicest people. Down to Earth, Sweet people. It was a pleasure to work on.

@@stolenhal0 that's a common way to "percieve" it but it's actually not how it works. Changing is just an illusion. People don't change, they just become a clearer version of who they really are. And IMHO Aurora is already herself to the fullest, so she would not "change", she'll just get older as we all do. But her personality and ideals / opinions will stay the same. If we apparently change, it means we were not trully ourselves in the first place (we were behaving differently / pretending to be someone we were not just to hide something, follow fashion, others' opinions which we didn't share just to be accepted, etc...). Ex. I still feel the same as I was 8 years ago (I'm 23) and I'm positive I'll never change.

I was obsessed with this song the winter my Exhusband was secretly having an affair. I surprised him with a winter getaway during his winter break and drove us to a cabin in southern Indiana on the Ohio river. He often wanted time alone on trips to be an introvert. That trip he hardly wanted to spend time with me which hurt but little did I know when I was alone in the cabin listening to this song over and over watching ice and ships gliding down the river that my husband was in the phone with his girlfriend and he was angry at me for taking him away from her. The line “All I need is to remember How it was to feel alive” helped me survive the affair coming to my attention and my eventual divorce. There was something so magical about that time in the cabin before I knew what was happening that this song gives me peace over. Thank you for helping me survive and giving me pure magic to hide Myself in.

I feel like this song is talking about nature and how everything sleeps in winter, but it also talks about a broken heart. So very shattered in pieces that it froze to ice, and no one is able to get inside. For me, this song discribes the state we feel, when there is no hope of new love and of new beginning. "walking in my sleep like the naked trees, will they wake up again? Do they sleep? Do they dream?" It's like we're not really here, when we're broken, we're sleeping like trees in winter, waiting for a new love. And yet there is always hope, because there is always spring. I hope you're doing good, this was also a heartbreak song for me.

Me. And it is longest "song spree" of my live. Not that I found her very long time ago (this year) but from that time I listen some songs every day ;). Hard to resist :).

It baffles me why people are mad that others are showing up because of frozen 2. More people showing up means that she left a mark on others that made them seek her out and listen to more. Her fan base and recognition is growing and there is NOTHING wrong with that.

Not to mention she loves Frozen 2 and said she was happy to see that children could grow up with the movie. If anything, Frozen 2 is a part of AURORA since she fully supports it. If fans deny Frozen 2, I feel like they're failing to see that AURORA saw something special in the movie that felt important enough for her to play a part.

i'm not annoyed about that or her getting big on tiktok at all, i think her music really helped me and i think it will help others too. what annoys me is how both can- and have- reduced her years of writing music and her incredible self to "the one from the tiktok trend" or "the one from frozen ii". it gets a bit frustrating when i tell someone about her and they assume she's no more than a trend or a voice. that's why people don't like it.

Exactly... even though I hate tiktok with a vengeance, you have to consider that it caused her to top the charts and might literally be the thing that pushes her to stardom. I'm so anxious for Aurora to become a big name and every time she gets a little nudge, it feels like a gift straight from heaven. trying to protect your favorite artist from becoming famous has got to be one of the most ridiculously sick and nasty things people can do. I would actually be scared to be around such people.

I can't stop listening to this. I know I'm late to the party but it's special when finding an artist this good. I feel lame for having not heard of Aurora but also thrilled as it's all new. Amazing.

"All I need is to remember how it was to feel alive." I'm depressed and this line really describes what I'm feeling right now. I have no vitality. I feel numb all the time. I feel dead. I don't remember the feeling of being truly alive. Aurora's music makes sense when nothing makes sense anymore.

I'm 50 years old now, and the luster of life is lost a lot of the time. Once in a while I remember the energy I had when I was younger. It felt like I was running on new batteries all the time. Tasting life, every new experience for the first time, charged by the electricity of youth, lost in the wonder of innocence, it was simply magical. I'm so afraid of her changing. She's like my best friend that I do not know personally. But the one I can always relate to. I don't want the media and social medias to get to such a pure, amazing singer. They've already ruined so many good artists and she seems to be that one singer that doesn't care what other people want but she does what she enjoys.

Susi Vega she dances contemporary, she has a dance video here on youtube you can search for it and contemporary dancers are very emotional dancers which explains her and her "magical" dances. She has emotions on it. ❤️ makes me love her even more! 😍

This song is art, and not just because it’s beautiful and well produced, but because of the unique yet vivid picture it paints in one’s mind. And it’s quite a beautiful picture. I believe painting pictures with songs is what truly makes it art. I really appreciate the ability we have to do this, and I hope my music can one day be as visible as Auroras.

I only recently discovered Aurora, and have bingged watch and listened to most of her videos. I don't understand how someone with such a beautiful voice, captivating videos, dance skill and beauty to top it all off not be more heard of! Maybe I just hang out with people who have poor taste in music lol!

I know the meaning, but I'll leave you all to try and decided for yourselves... I spend too much time inside my mind watching the moths and birds fly. in the dead darkened sky I see a blinding light. The light shines on a hare With pitch black hair. There it sits, trying to escape, To its reality it is taped. I watch the black crows crow Upon bushes that refuse to grow. I hear a clock chime as I realize... I spend too much time inside myh mind. Please, I beg you, don't steal this!! I'm taking a huge risk by posting this. I guess I'll leave you all to decipher it yourselves. Let me know what you think different parts mean. I'm interested to know. And sorry. This isn't great, I know. I'm only 13...
