I couldn’t even stay still!! I was on the edge of my seat…you kept spinning…I’m going don’t let that glowing green go off the side and then you come back and your painting over it and I was like oh my gosh😢 I love that spot! But I own an Art Studio and I know that everyone loves something different and it’s OK!! You knew what you wanted and what you did is stunning!! I adore you and your technique and your ART😮just incredible!!!

This video gave me anxiety in the best way possible! At 10:12 I thought you were finished, and was SHOCKED when you spun again, and again LOL. This is magnificent Jessica, it really is. More please!!! 💙💙💙

This piece is fabulous… And you know why I adore watching your videos. I love watching you in action one of the things I like that you do if is play music that evokes the emotion behind watching you, or I should say, evokes along with watching you create peace… Sometimes when there’s songs and you have words and all that it to me, that’s distracting When it’s just music it allows for you to get into the actual painting and what is going on and it just helps you focus… That’s just me… Anyway, as I ramble on I love this I can’t wait to attempt to try this technique. I know it will probably take me several several tries to get even close to what you do but it definitely is Inspirational to want to try.

When you look at upside down it looks like a snake with its jaw open and a bird or something it’s going to eat. I love it.

Gosh I love these so so much!!! So I'm noticing you aren't putting too much color down under the faux pillow. Would you say those layers are just slightly thinner? Super thick CA, 1:1?

Hey Amanda!!!! The layers are thin the consistency is as usual. Although I realized that if the consistency is slightly thinner they spread out faster and it’s more likely they cover the whole canvas in the end.

Awesome ❤ I love it. Question, I'm confused about the faux pillow. Is it the Prussian Blue or the black? Thanks for this video, I might give it a go.

Hi hi hi! May I ask why you use JoSonja to thin instead of water, Floetrol, or even more Polycrylic? My Liquitex and Amsterdam paints tend to turn put pretty thick. Pebeo and DecoArt Metallics - not so much. Thanks and Danke. Peace!

I don't use water or floetrol. Both do something with the consistency and/or density of my paints so it doesn't work the way I want it to. You can use Polycrylic instead of joSonja. I'm not sure if I use JoSonja out of sheer superstition ...😂

This is gorgeous! Does the pillow paint have to be white underneath?

With this layering technique it would be best. The reason I'n doing this is because the white underneath brings out the glow. I started this because I wanted a black background but wanted the colors to be intense. If the pillow was just black underneath the colors on top would lose its vibrancy.

Я тоже заливаю по интуиции и получаю огромное удовольствие от этого, но я начинающая. И в России нет таких материалов как у вас(Из-за санкций тоже и на Амазон не купить), поэтому заливаю на пва, краске и лаке определенных производителей. И такая сетка как у вас практически не получается. Напишите пожалуйста в какую из красок вы добавляете силикон, если добавляете. И в каком цвете у вас активатор и какой состав активатора хотя бы примерно. Или ваша сетка получается исключительно из-за Floetrola? Я второй год самообучаюсь в интернете. На свой канал "Нестандартно обо всём" я выложила некоторые из своих работ. Заливаю по керамической плитке. Спасибо❤❤

I’m assuming you’re not referring to this video in wich I used a faux pillow. If I use a black base I go to a sherwin williams store and ask them to tint one of their sample paints black. Their “super paint” works as well. I leave it open over night because it’s fairly thin

The good thing about art is, it's subjective. If I feel as the artist, I want to change something I will do it. That's how I evolve and that's how I find my own style. It is necessary for my artistic journey, to set me apart from other artists and just be a 'crafter'
