I’ve been to at least 300 live music performances by many diverse and very talented musicians. I’ve never been so mesmerized by a singer/performer as Aurora. This KEXP show was my first exposure to her and I was fascinated from the mike check. She is utterly fantastic. So, I concur

"A canalized energy act" is exactly what dancing already is. Choreographed or "pre-programmed" dancing loses that spark, however.

Her smile and look when she finish the song is everything. She could get a stone falling in love with her....

How does she do to sing such highly (not high notes only, but high-scaled melodies) and not have her voice break nor sound squeaky nor fragile... Ahhh! I love how pristine it is...

I agree completely. I showed a few of her performances to my father, who is a musician, and he asked me what it is about her that makes me so emotional - her voice? I responded that it is not her voice, it’s that she seems to be living a human experience that is closer to what we are all meant to have- so free. It makes me cry every time I watch her perform.

She is perhaps the most liberated person I have ever seen. She is so effortless in her movements and emotions that it looks simply fantastic. It's sad to say, but in our world, almost EVERYONE has physical and psychological 'constraints.'

Greatest live performance ever filmed! Aurora wanted to be a Molecular Scientist at an early age, this song feels a lot like that. She took a lot of instruments and sounds that at first glance you would say no way this is gonna work. Well, damnit, it worked to perfection!

she is insane and she knows that. and that's what i love on her.

"words remain, unspoken" man, i can relate *so much* to this line. as a pretty shy person, i am kind of uncomfortable in the conversations where you have to come with a sentence fast, because it's such a mess in my head lmao. there are so many ideas, so many ways to make my sentences, so many things i wanna say, so many emotions i want to express that i can't put the finger on one right thing to tell, and most of the times i don't exactly say what i think, because what i think is so much more complex ! so yeah, words remain in my head, unspoken

I understand. Having the feeling of being out of place in a way. But you can take that complexity and try and let it out in a different way. There is much more than words. I use a piano to clear my head with the emotions and thoughts i cant express verbally. Also breathing excersises and meditation help to bring structure to this complexity. What starts with a endless maze of thoughts and emotions turns into a beautifull geometric field of creativity :) Hope this helps you in a way or maybe gives you a different perspective on things :) much love and peace. D.

@@detlef741 thanks ! i personnaly use writing. i write lyrics a lot because it makes me be able to translate pictures, feelings, memories and sensations into words, and it's much easier when i have the time to think about what i wanna say, what i need to say. and when i write lyrics, there's no one here to stop me when i'm talking or no listen to me, so i can speak for myself without having to worry about anyone calling out stuff i say wrong or something. it makes me feel free to speak, and it clears my head a little :D

I'm pretty sure she do mushrooms from time to time or at least she did. She's much more connected to the "source" than most people, so in flow with energy, channeling the message of love and peace. She's psychedelic. She's a boddhisattva.

Loved the whole performance but from 3:35 onwards the power! It was incredible!!! Love this song.

When I saw her live performances of this song, all I was thinking was "one day, I´ll see this in person". My dream came true at 2019, and the hypnosis produced by this song was something I´ll never forget.

Her talent is amazing and her voice is beautifully haunting. The first time I listened to Through The Eyes of A Child I cried into my wife's shoulder because she somehow expressed physically and vocally an emotion that I couldn't myself.

@@nusagrace Overall, I don't like as much as the first two. I really like a few songs though. I like "heathens", "blood in the wine" and "you keep me crawling" . However, I think she has showed more maturity in the music and lyrics. I think this is a transitional phase towards something both mature and also magical.
