That wouldn't make any sense. Why did the video poster use 2 dreams if he is only getting a level 15 holy shock aura? Same goes for hoj and dragon. Looks like he was killing fast with zeal because he does not want to do some fancy stack bug which I don't blame him for that. Gets old to stack the auras like crazy.

i believe auras also get synergy damage from salvation, so even one point in it would help

Nice. Auradins are for pvp. Ways others can beat auradins are using soj or anything lightning absorb.

Why zeal? isnt charge better for auradin?

what about act 1/or 2 merc with Ice runeword?

How many points into Zeal would you recommend? Also which auras should I worry about when going through the game and leveling. First time doing a Paladin build so some pointers would be sweet. Nice video by the way, really made me interested in making a ladder paladin..

Well leveling up as an auradin is very hard to do. You should prob pick a different build to level with.

Matty Napier you need at least 5 points in Zeal to get the maximum amout of attacks iirc

May be one idea is a trade guide for d2. how to check unique price and so on

You mean for in game or on jsp? I feel like the values change so much it's hard to really do that.

I have a question, is it OK to use this build to lvl up and loot (MF) or should I just get leeched and buy the armor, I had to ask because i ve tried to learn and use skill points and farming equipment with a similar build but it seems the real damage comes from equipement bonuses and lvl 30 and up skills. Basicaly if i am far from lvl 30 and i have only 1 point on every spell required in the skill tree. I am pretty sure i will never defeat even Andariel, i mean, obviously I kill Andariel with an Overlord Necro, or a Vit Barbarian at lvl 10 or 12 using "/players8" to increase dificult and exp income, but i dont think a lvl 6 fire aura will kill her. there is a way to get this build to work with the same character i am trying to lvl up in PvE? or it is extremadely a "Buy the equipment first" character, as the smite one you said you are going to do? Thank You in advance.

Yes this character is fairly weak to very weak as it levels so no, I wouldn't recommend it. Just get rushed and leveled would be a lot easier or you could run a different type of character and then reset to auradin later too.

how the aura's switches auto?

I never went so far, the maximum I remember was mine non-ladder frenzy barbarian (someone dropped me all the stuff including anni)

Looks like a very strong and fun build! What video should I watch for a full instruction on how to install a bot? Now that I got able to trade all my basic sorc and mid runes stuff for an enigma to make a hammerdin I just wanna be able to get all the good loot without having to sit for hours mfing!

kindly old player just starting again... haven't played since like 06' just went out and bought a few weeks ago building me a new paladin trying to relearn how to play n build because I've forgotten everything basically! never was good with runes n stuff, never hacked n don't want to... help an ol'newb out? playing 1.14d can you attack auras? like multiple same time still? Very cool that you are starting again! You can stack auras but, they don't do massive damage like they used to. Still very helpful though and not super expensive items. Let me know if you need something either here or on d2jsp.org my user name is darcvigilante there too.

There is no way to say exactly where you will find them. Some people says kurast runs I find the most in Chaos.

Hey man nice video, im currently training my auradin, now my level is 32, should i max out holy fire and holy shock first? or max out conviction? And how much dex i need to put cuz i find it annoying to miss a lot of hits in act 1 nightmare :'( Btw, nice video u got there keep it up!

Auradin's are tricky. They are weak at lower levels. I would suggest getting a rush and then just leveling up through public games

No problem. To clarify a "rush" is when someone get you to hell difficulty. Usually act 5. That way you can get to level 60 do ancients in act 5 and then go on to baal runs to level you to w/e level you are willing to wait for. Way faster than doing it by yourself.

You can get them in single player. It's just that hrs are next to impossible to get.

Thanks! Yes you just follow the bot setup up until you configure the actual characters. That part you can skip and just use the entry point called NTmanual and will have map hack

ladder resets on May 30, and I just made this exact toon lol. Oh well, fun times until we reset in a few days.

Why put a point into vigor when you have a point in charge? You can shift click with charge and run around hella fast and have an extra point to put elsewhere.

Hey brother. Maybe a strange question for you. But you are the first person I could think to ask. If you had any choice to make a character to help your Lightning Sorc with MF runs mainly and maybe a few other things, what would you make? I was leaning towards an Auradin or a trap assassin to help subtract resistances further.

Well I would prob run an enigma barb with full out bo gear which kinda works but, honestly not the best as the leader casts bo quite a bit. You could run the leader without a cta and just let the barb do it and that would work fine. OR you can run a nado or ele druid again with enigma and an oak sage for MASSIVE life.

Soon as I get the gear that is what I am going to do most likely. One of those 2. So in the mean time I have a second infinity so will just run a bliz sorc with my lightning sorc till I get some more gear/runes etc I suppose.

My auradin was made with charge, not zeal... I think that is way better because i dont spend points in vigor and stuff... My merc is the nightmare 2 act with 3 runewords: Doom (Has holy freeze), Dream (Holy shock), and dragon (Holy fire)... Even my merc has all of those auras to help me out... In hell, every mobs dies in couple seconds '-' u should try this... and more, if u switch the conviction to holy shock or fire, the damage is a lot more higher... Exemple: i curse my enemy with conviction, then i switch to holy shock... he tooks the damage, then i return to conviction, curse again and turns to holy shock or fire, depends on his imunnity..

Why would you want doom with an act 2 merc that can get that aura without that weapon? Zeal works better imo you can charge but, it uses more mana. Whichever you like better!

With Doom + my conviction, has more damage without then... I already try it .-. At the begin i also thinks that but i tested and works better with it ^^

How to afford all those gear? I am having problems gearing my Zeal Pally on NM act 4. Tried to find guides to gearing your character to hell, but not much help from the internet.

Easily and I have in the past.

Your gears your problem .....i use a jewlers crystal sword with x6 light facetes a jewlers ap of the whale with 4 facets x2 dreams and life offence gcs, for your build you need to toss your merc and get an act 2 merc with infinity and max your lightning aura, with no stacking this build works 50x better

I can't use faith on my merc. I have a Faith hydra bow but merc can't equip it, what do I do?

Maurice Umberto Padro my guess is the Merc doesn't have high enough stats. Either use gear to boost stats high enough to use or level you and the Merc up until she can use it.

I made sure it was "equipable" by the merc. Stats and level requirements were all met, still not usable by merc.

Are you sure? Is she already using a bow that gives a bonus to stats that you are removing when you use the faith? As far as I know it would have to be stats as hydra is not a class specfic weapon.

What kind of botting can we do with an auradin ?

Leecher Follower. You could run an enigma but, it would def not be as good. It's more for one on one attacks.

You still have to setup the bot basically to get map hack working. You don't have to bot or do any configs or anything but the installation procedures are the same.

Yeah you have to get ALL the steps right. Usually people skip ahead or don't watch ALL the videos and that's the problem. They always tell me they did but, I can tell they didn't.

Well somewhere something went wrong and isn't right. I know because as I did those videos I made the bot. I'm still using it right now. Usually it's something minor. What happened what was it doing that it wouldn't work?

use act 1 cold merc with runeword Ice on a hydrabow. this is the 3rd cold aura from the paladine class. you'll be hitting enemies with all 3 damage including conviction aura and doing physical damage with zeal/smite/vengeance

Yes not as good as it did where it would stack unlimited. Although I have heard there is still a way to do it.

dude this is bullshit ive been tryin to find blizzards number i bought an dld this game off of there downloader as it was an option under classics and it wants a disc. wtf? if u download a game... why do u need a disc? -_- rly dont want to dispute charge an not be able to play the game. kinda shocked blizzard seems a lil shady lately...

Problem fixed. ended up having to make sure under properties of both chrome and battlenet that i had the compatibilty under win 7 through (ADMINISTRATOR) cheers 8=D
