Hi girls thank you for this review of the line. I was just watching this line ingredients last night. 💕👍🏾TaylorAnne, a repair mas doesn t moisturise hair but brings protein to repair or reinforce your hair shafts. Keeping this mask for two days you were lucky you hair didn t feel like straw. Do you know you hair porosity ? if you have medium to low porosity you might not need repair mask as often just once a month is enough... personally i always read the ingredients before putting it in my hair. Results will defer according to hair porosity and thickness... I would suggest in humid climate avoid products with glycerin . I use different products in summer vs winter. Here in Paris, winter is humid and cold so I use glycerin free products and thicker cream to protect my hair from the cold. Summer time I will use light product but I don't mind as much glycerin unless I know the weather forecast included rain during the week. Glycerin and humidity do not agree . My hair gets puffy and frizzy and my style doesn t last. The only product I bought from Aunt Jackie is the quench leave in. It was ok but I left on the shelf because of the glycerin. As à prepoo it works really well though. You results are really nice. The wringlets are comparable to the Mane Choice !💕☺️

I’m always so salty about this gel! It broke my hair off the few times that i used it, i tried SUPER moisturizing products underneath the gel & still experienced so much breakage. I knew it just wasn’t for me. I’ve never used a gel that was as dry as this one. It works wonderfully on my mom’s hair and my friends’ hair, so i know it’s not a bad batch. I’ve used other Aunt Jackie’s products so i definitely can’t say anything bad about the brand it’s just that gel, maaaaan! 😪 i was so hurt. I haven’t tried it again since doing my haircut and i honestly don’t think i will 😢 Your results are beautiful as always! It’s definitely elongating & the definition is crazy! 🙌🏽

I need to actually water the curl whip down if I wear it during the summer... I have low density, fine curly hair and even though it's lightweight since shea butter is the second ingredient, it's still heavy for me. I can't wait to try the gel for the summer. That gel was a old product fave for me. I used to pair it with Devacurl and other products and always loved it. It was also my reccomendation when ppl asked about products for their hair. Since then it has been forgotten so thank ju for this video cause I'm gonna try it for this NY Humidity- especially with this rain!! I also am not crazy about oils but ofcourse ya'll got me wanting to spend my coins and buy it. As for the question on how the gel and High-manetenance pair together- I have tried and had to immediately rinse my hair in the sink. It's a no go! There is visible build up on the hair. The mix was sitting on top of my hair and was not penetrating. There were clumps. They don't mix

This gel looked like it made some if your curls look looser, which would be the elongating property I guess. But obviously you two knew that😂 I love your results, so pretty and bouncy looking!!!

With aphogee 2 step I mix it with a moisturizing conditioner and a bit of oil so it doesn’t get hard and doesn’t dry your hair out so bad .. I love it cause it helps my curls be tighter.. I love y’all’s videos !! thank you 😊

I'm six years late to this video but yeah! I thought being natural would be easy. Lol. I got a big chop and now I'm at the awkward length. I can't do 3 day hair because of shrinkage. And yeah it's expensive even though I use other natural products as well such as flaxseed gel and bentonite clay mask and ACV rinse, just to reduce some of the cost. But I still love trying super hydrating and curl friendly products, curl creams, enhancers etc. I just enjoy it and I'm still searching for my go to products but hhmm it gets pricey.

I am so happy you both used one of my favorite gels that has been a holy grail for me! I love Aunt Jackie's! the quench leave in conditioner is made for that gel and will give you added moisture! Scrunch that joker back up!!! LOL. TaylorAnne that was priceless. Hence the term wash and go.....I thought it was going to be easier than it is. The other day my husband saw into my shower and started laughing because he said I have a warehouse of products.....then I told him those are just shampoos and conditioners, the stylers are on another shelf. LOL. I never use a microfiber towel to scrunch out excess moisture because it takes too much out, I just use a tee shirt. Your results are the bomb. Oh sorry I forgot. Haha..... Omgggg i love your videoss you guys are awesome but i wanna know your opinion on silicones because i have the same products and i was shocked when i saw dimethicone in the ingredients what do you think about it?

Have you ladies tried the coconut creme line? I was planning on getting it at some point but wanted your input.

OHHH!! Ok I haven't seen ya'll do a slick high pony poof or puff or low pony puff or just a slicked front and curly back styles just wanted to see the laying power of the edge control with the lil brush in action. Thanks tho I have a collection of edge controls and none have the stay down power to last the day if I want a super slicked front I usually use Moco de Gorilla (Gorilla Snot Gel) lol!! that usually does the trick but I think it's very harsh on the hair usually get a headache by the end of the day because its so hard.

This came out well. It made your highlights pop. I thought LoriAnne had gotten #TheFullSlab lol! The gel didn’t help with my shrinkage at all, but nothing does.

MissMeMissMoe I Did not touch my hair at all until it was absolutely dry. I did not want it to shrink. Normally elongation products are hit or miss with me too. This one was a hit. But I will definitely be looking and testing more elongating products because it’s my season for shrinkage. So hopefully we can find something that will work for you as well. 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne

LL i feel you! I only wash & go. Then, I let dry & band to get my length back. Otherwise, I'd have a constantly TWA even though my hair is growing because of my tight coils.

🙋🏽‍♀️ I thought being natural was going to be so much cheaper than my weave, and It was going to be easy and low manipulation.... FALSE! But I’m loving It esp since I’m such a product junkie now.

Best summer products, even though this will be my second summer natural, The Mane Choice Ancient Egyptian line!

We see you LoriAnne. Yeah it’s been really humid here too. It was a dry heat this morning. It was annoying. Now it’s pouring down. WALMART has it. Every thing was the same price for this line. I only used this gel once. I wasn’t crazy about it. I probably will use it again. Hahaha🤣😅😂 High School LA gel look. When I use my Aphoghee treatment I sit under my hair dryer. It takes about 45 minutes for my hair to get hard. I spend more money now than I did when I had a relaxer. SMH😡. Do it both ways LoriAnne. Use a microfiber to scrunch. Then use your hands. Then leave it alone until it dries. I love your results. The older your hair get the better it looks. Ok you both convinced me to use the gel again. Thanks for your video. I’m going to cook dinner now. 😁

This gel is bomb (I'll say it for you TaylorAnne 😁), and it's inexpensive. I never thought to use it as a one and done, but I'll give it a try next wash.

Evangeline Wtts That’s my results. My hair gets harder than a rock but once I rinse it out my hair is stronger for it. My hair loves protein so I get great results. TaylorAnne on the other hand doesn’t. Her hair cannot handle protein. Her hair gets like straw. 🤓🦁

Hi Daphne! You know I didn’t even think about it until you mentioned protien, I looked at the ingredients and it does have protien in it, maybe that’s why my hair was not having it at all, and the fact I left it in for two days, oh lawd lol yeah nope, that’s probably why. We are on day 3 of this wash n go and our curls are still intacted, a little frizz but overall they look good! Thank you for watching! 🤗 -TaylorAnne

The only thing I like from the flaxseed line is the oil lol.. I like curl Lala and a few products from there coconut line.. but I’m glad you both finally reviewed great video.. try coconut line when you can... ❤️❤️❤️

Hey Guys! I have type 4 hair and one side of my hair always seems less defined than the other. I can tell after I deep condition one sides frizzier and when I apply products the other side curls more. This is getting kind of annoying should I try a protein treatment? I only use heat once a year btw. Do you guys ever have this problem with one good side one bad side of hair lol?

Gillian Hamilton Exactly! When products say “elongating” we look for that stretch. Sometimes the product is true to its word, other times they are not. That’s what we test for at times. Stand by what you say.....this brand definitely did with this particular product. 🤓🦁💕➰
