The album explores lesser known folklore and folk tales from the British Isles as well as further out, from the superstitions of a newly Christianised Iceland to tales of Werewolves from Ireland and the Shamanic practices of Northern Scandinavia.

Riffing kind of reminds me of post-jail Burzum albums. Although this is certainly more creative and dynamic. Very good.

Wow, who are those underground bands no one heard of? Jokes aside, this sounds like none of those bands. It is its own thing. And Agalloch is boring, basic rock with an untalented vocalist.
