I grew up in Dundee and can boast a large family there but we have all drifted apart as families so often do. It was great to see mention of my first work place where I assisted the artist in the art department of DC Thomsons for a time in the 1960s. My grandfather was a Black Watch member during the second war and played the Last Call on the bugle for the unveiling of the war memorial at the top of the Law Hill. Thank you for sharing a fine collection of film portraying my home city. I will forever miss Dundee.

Yes it had tram lines still in place in the city centre last time I was there but the city planners have in my opinion taken a lot out of the old city and I would not be surprised to see them gone now. It might be cleaner but is not so beautiful. A great deal of the old charm has gone especially by the river front.
