He's making that violin sing (cry) so beautifully. His breathing is the only thing proving to us that he's human.

I am convinced that he is currently the best violinist alive… I mean that with utmost respect for some of the greats like vengrov, ehnes, and hahn. His accuracyand articulation at those speeds is just insane

Agreed. This guy has put in the time to truly master the Violin. He's like Paganini reborn but possibly better, we'll never know. All I know he he does the best version of the Debussy Sonata for Violin and Piano in G Minor even with his almost imperceptible flub not long after the Intro. At least that let me know he's actually Human or I'd think he was from Outer Space. He is a combination of raw natural Talent and really hard work. He really loves the chromatic scale runs and Diminished 7th arpeggios. 👽

Everytime augustin plays something..never once “this is such a hard number to play” thoughts crossed my mind..its just “what a beautiful piece this is” ( pardon my english ) thats how brilliant augustin is 🎉

I think he was always talented. The accident tempered him and he has become gold. This sounds like he’s really letting go and yet reigns it in just enough to make us realize what a fucking true virtuoso he is.
