ABR is an awesome metal band not just because of the music (which is badass) but because of their positive message. This interview totally reflects that, thanks for finally covering these guys!
This is such a good interview. Rather than just answer true or false they all had something more to say about most of the facts listed
Finally! Do now Parkway drive next
Huge respect to ABR. Even if you aren't a fan, you have to respect their dedication and how good they are at what they do.

Not 100% proud of this but I was in rehab with the drummer’s brother. He was a pretty cool kid, he was a crust punk but I’m not gonna hold that against him ;)

Their playing style is so technical and tight. I don't think a lot of people truly understand what phenomenal musicians these guys are. I've seen where people "judge the book by its cove" so to speak, when they see these clean cut, Christian Pennsylvania boys and dismiss them, but when given the chance to hear their music (particularly "Marianas Trench") they realize these guys can wail. Also unrelated, as a proud Pennsylvania native that lives kind of close to Lancaster and have drilled and blasted all over Lancaster, the one larger job I did was located adjacent to where they used to practice
"They did it got wrong this... ! Oh wait.."

Jake is a unit. But seriously, metalcore became shit when it became more core than metal. Another thing "the scene" ruined by incorporating auto-tuned singing, generic riffs, and style over substance. Give me Parkway, ABR, Architects, and old school A7X/BFMV over Asking Alexandria, BMTH, and every band to do with Ronnie Radke any day.
