I was at Cherry Creek when Pope John Paul 2 came in 1993. We saw him there and had Mass there. It was wonderful!!!❤❤❤❤

I'm blessed by my Lord and saviour Christ, by allowing me to take part in that event, World Youth Day Denver Colorado 1993. It was a very beautiful experience that I had getting closer to the Lord and enjoying every second every moment especially the companionship of all my fellow brothers and sisters from my Parish in Orange County Ca. I was in my teen's when we made the trip from California to Denver Colorado. I say about 14, I was a young kid who grew up in a rough neighborhood seeing other young teens mixed in gang violence. That wasn't my thing. I was just a normal kid. I'm glad that back then we didn't have cell phones, I don't think pagers were even out yet. A 14-year-old only carried his walkman, to listen to music while going on a trip. We didn't have all these gadgets that we have nowadays, unfortunately. Let's back to this story.
