AUDREY (2020) Official Trailer | Trailblazers
Фильм және анимация
Audrey is available to rent and own on digital from November 30th in the UK, December 15th in the US and December 16th in Australia. Other international markets from February 8th 2021. Order here: nbcu.lnk.to/AudreyID
From the multi award-winning producers of ‘McQueen’ and ‘Churchill’ comes Audrey, an intimate look at Audrey's life, with access to exclusive never-before-seen footage from her family's personal collection. Providing an unprecedented and insightful view on Audrey, her life and her dreams, aspirations and her everlasting legacy.
Audrey Hepburn won her first Academy Award at the age of 24, and went on to become one of the world’s greatest cultural icons: a once-in-a-generation beauty, and legendary star of Hollywood’s Golden Age, whose style and pioneering collaboration with Hubert de Givenchy continues to inspire. But who was the real Audrey Hepburn?
Malnourished as a child, abandoned by her father, and growing up under Nazi occupation in Holland, Hepburn faced a life-long battle with the traumas of her past, which thwarted her dreams of becoming a ballet dancer, and cast a shadow over her personal life. Yet she found inner peace, using her superstardom for good as a global ambassador for UNICEF, and bringing her life full circle: first a victim of war, then a source of relief to millions.
A hybrid of rare archive, cinematic dance sequences, and intimate interviews with those who knew her best, this film brings a truly extraordinary woman to life, who stands as testament to the power of love and forgiveness.
The documentary feature contributions from:
Sean Hepburn-Ferrer (Audrey’s son)
Emma Ferrer (Audrey’s granddaughter)
Richard Dreyfuss (co-star)
Clare Waight Keller (former artistic director, Givenchy)
John Loring (design director emeritus of Tiffany & Co)

Such a shame that this was common in the lives of many people back in the older days. There wasn’t much mental health support so people had to bottle up their feelings or find different ways of coping with them. Much like Marilyn Monroe. Audrey is definitely timeless, her beauty (both inside and out) was out of this world. Truly one of a kind woman, never to be replaced or duplicated. I can’t wait to see her one day, dancing in the gardens in the heavens above. I’m sure the sight will be pure bliss.

@@SuicideboysGrey59 please, do not compare the one and only, compassionate, classy and smart Audrey with the shallow Marilyn Monroe. Monroe had many abortions and had affairs with many married men, including the former President John Kennedy. She wanted to steal him from his wife Jackeline. Marilyn was a bad character and totally shallow.
@SuicideboysGrey59

@@MonalisaCerrutti I don’t know where you got your information about Marilyn from but a good majority of that is incorrect. Marilyn was just as lost and misplaced as Audrey was, both women had horrible upbringings and had bigger hearts than most. Marilyn, more than anything, wanted to be a mother, just like Audrey did. While I love and adore Audrey, she wasn’t perfect and had her share of affairs and imperfections, just like I’m sure Marilyn did. It’s not nice to throw Marilyn under the bus like that, and if you do your research, you’ll see that the chaotic childhoods these ladies had had great influenced on their adult choices; abandonment, trust issues, looking for love in all the wrong places, etc.
@MonalisaCerrutti

@@SuicideboysGrey59 that's not an excuse to try to destroy other people's marriages. I know she was trying to be happy in love, but it didn't give her the right to try to damage otber people' s lives. She should have put herself in Jackeline's shoes. How would she feel if Jackeline tried to steal her husband? Would she like that? I do not think so. I also know she had a disfunctional family and her mother was schizophrenic...my mother was schizophrenic too and I have never tried to steal men who were taken. This isn't right. Life is like a Ferry's Wheel: one day you are up, but in the next day, you can be down. What goes round, comes round. Besides that, few people get what they want in life and the ones who do aren't really the lucky ones. The true lucky people are the ones who do what they are meant to.
Just about her physical & inner beauty, she had that clean innocent kind of beauty that need no bareness or nakedness in order to shine, these are the reasons why the camera loves her because u know that whatever beauty u saw are real, u're not being cheated or being lied about it or it being an acts.

I just watched this film and I have to say, I have so much love and respect for this woman. She was such a classy, lovely lady.
Her eyes is literally like gemstones.
It started with famous French writer Colette casting her for the leading role in her stage play Gigi, then came Roman Holiday, with Hollywood legend Gregory Peck, who demanded that her name was up next to his on the movie poster (first billing), instead of under it, "and introducing...", and the rest is history. Her last movie appearance was in Stephen Spielberg's Always, as a guardian angel.

Especially when they went behind her back and did their own thing (them dubbing in her singing voice in my fair lady and her undergoing much scrutiny for taking the role) without telling her. The most beautiful woman who has ever walked and who will ever walk this earth, and so beautiful from the inside. When she entered a room, she lit it up. It's a tragedy that sometimes the most beautiful souls are not quite seen by their surroundings. She is loved, and will always be, and she deserves this hommage. I'm so looking forward to this.
Impossible not to love this woman. Impossible.
I just saw and I can only say that her soul was an expression of the purest aristocracy. Like a princess living among common people. She suffered a lot but never accused or destroyed other lives, she carried her pain and inspired millions. A unique woman.
Audrey and Marilyn Monroe were so different but so similar - both just wanted to be loved and are so gorgeous and yet they never found it. They were too good for the world.
if only she could see how much love and support she continues to receive to this day, how much of an impact she’s made on people lives. she’s definitely the reason why I’m still going, having read numerous books and articles about her horrid upbringing has inspired me so much to keep going. If someone who continued to see the goodness of the world and of people, even while she underwent such hardships and turmoil, then that means I could get through my worst moments with such stride, too. she’s encouraged me to be more open-minded about things that seem “different” or “unusual”, she’s taught me the beauty in being well educated and baring proper manners and behavior as well as being grateful for everything I own as others may not be so fortunate (this includes the basic necessities like food and water, shelter and electricity when I know she suffered from being deprived of these goods when she was a young teenager). she’s also taught me how fortunate we all should be when embracing the freedoms we too often take for granted (and wrongly perceive as privileges) when she and millions of others were robbed of such a wonderful thing during the war. She’s opened my eyes and made me realize that true beauty isn’t on the outside but on the inside, and it’s so sad to see young girls looking up to the wrong role models who make appearances and materiel things everything. I’m so glad to have had Audrey enter my life as my inspirational guidance, my guardian angel and protector, if you will. I know I’ll get to see her in person (or in spirit) one day, and I can’t wait for that day to come, just dancing with her in the gardens of the heavens above is more than I could ever ask for.
This brought me to tears. She is such an icon, and so inspiring. She will also forever be my role model.
The Children's Hour with Shirley MacLaine is cinema gold. If you haven't seen it please do. Both actresses are amazing, so talented.
She isn't just a star, she changed the world ♡
She was special. Sometimes I imagine how sterile life and the world would be if we hadn't these rays of light 😊✨

I collected uncountable photos of her... she's everything, like she's so beautiful, so natural,i loved her so so so much. "There were human beings and there was Audrey Hepburn 💕"
Ever since I was 6. I've had such an awe for audrey. She's inspired me to be who I am. She's why I'm still here. I wish I could be more like her.

I can’t wait to see this , My grandmother, my mother and myself all love Audrey Hepburn
I loved Audrey so much she is an amazing role model for young girls including myself I miss her so much I’m crying right now this is a beautiful movie about a beautiful woman on the inside and out
I think there are so much parallels in our lifes. Sadly said that one of the beautiest women (in and out) ever lived, she didn't get in return so much love what she really deserved. Poor Audrey, but she inspired and will inspire so much women all over the world. Her memorial will be for ever.
