Nobody's talking about how amazing it is, that they can switch to Japanese and to Korean effortlessly 🤧 Like they understand each other in Korean and in Japanese 💪🏻 Especially YUMA, he used Korean in a Japanese show rather than his mother tongue because his members are mostly Koreans. AGAIN FUMA AND K SHOULD DEBUT!!!!! 😭😭😭

Nobody is probably going to read this but I feel like Hayate doesn't get enough credit for how well he gets along with everyone and just fits in general. I think it was especially telling in the last two episodes and I found it really interesting that when they chose leaders K specifically brought up that quote from RM about being a quiet support when he nominated Hayate and everyone agreed. It reminds me so much of Jin or Hobi's role in BTS in that context. The fact that K felt strongly enough to mention that specifically, and said that cute comment about being certain he's known him before says to me K feels close to him and like he's someone he can lean on and trust. K feeling confident he could pass leadership on to him, and Hayate could handle it made me feel certain if Hayate were chosen K would have someone who may not be his same age but that he could still lean on if things got to be too much for him. While Hayate has an outgoing personality he's more introspective than he appears, often quietly contemplating things, and takes care of those around him well. You can tell he likes to boost people up (his praises for Nicho's leadership and Yuma's hosting an example) and watches out for the littles (I thought it was cute that while he was joking he kept telling everyone to be careful and not strain themselves). He was also one of the guys chosen the most by all of them when asked who they would want for a brother. He just has that fun reliable big brother energy (very Jin LOL). Watching through the show I've gained so much affection for him because of all these small qualities I think get looked over in him. It makes me kind of sad. Plus, he's talented af. I hope he makes it.

I read it all because obviously you mentioned Hayate. From the very 1st ep after his appearance, I was really interested to him and still I'm praying for him and adoring him too much more than any other guy. As you said, I felt the exact same thing. Hayate seems to be little introvert types but if you can get close to him then he's totally different and that makes me like him more. In this episode after reading the letter, when everyone was trying to cheer up by smiling, he become totally quiet that shows it's really hard for him. K can understand him so well even though they have much age gap. I really want him to be noticed and treated well and I know that other 14 boys are always there with him.

Is this the healthiest environment and atmosphere I've ever seen on a idol competition show? 100%. All the trainees and mentors are respectful towards each other. Yes! When I first watched this episode I was so surprised by his ability to recognize that his actions may have hurt Hikaru and explain where he was coming from but also in a way that is positive. He keeps confirming why he is my favorite! Also, I was in literal tears through the whole exchange. What a sweet moment.

As someone who's never experienced something like that from my parents before, I feel so happy at the same time a little bit jealous for Gaku. Coming here after their debut and being a fan. Our maknae Maki is so cute and I can't believe the way the whole team has excellent chemistry. They all must debut. No joke. I can say that each one has his own fans.

Fuma is also fit perfectly to be a leader honestly, he know that he's in a team full of korean members so he try his best to speak in korean for them since they're also younger than him... And he handle the two cutie maknae (minhyung and yejun) well too lol, just like their young age they're pretty energetic and childish, especially minhyung, he's full of energy during the games XD

bro huge respect to EJ. I'm a Japanese boy and listening to his japanese makes me so happy cos he improved so much and he is the best non-japanese to speak japanese. Its so cool and i can feel his effort on not just training his "idol skills" like singing, but also always tries to speak japanese whenever he can.

I think team Wangwang had the best teamwork overall. My heart nearly exploded when K ate the lemons for Taki. He is truly an ace. Not only in his stage performance but in other activities as well.

見返し中…涙涙涙…親目線で余計に泣ける。本人達はもちろんだけど、送り出す方も大きな決断だよね。

When they read the letter from their families I started crying for Nicholas; even before I land, he moved to a different country, learned a new language and culture, had a hard time on the show, then he decided to stay there hoping for his debut in the future, had a bunch of ups and downs with the future group (even losing a member), worried if they would even make it, and now another survival show. My boy, he must really miss his family🤍 I really cannot wait for his debut and all his hard work to pay off🤍 Also, it was really nice seeing everyone have fun through the day and talking about their feelings. These boys are very special. Gambare!!!

K ej Taki and nick are set to debut Nothing changed that. This show is only to look for more members. The other kids that don't make the final line up. Will form another group in the future. Hybe Japan will have to debut more groups.

I didn't realise that Maki and Harua had this kind of differences. I cried because of they told and when they made peace hugging each other. I was so soft for that. I wish seeing them together now!

it's been more than a year and i still sob when hikaru tells the story during the fire. every single time, my heart breaks for him :( i'm introverted too so i totally get how he was feeling. excited to know him and gaku are soon debuting in another group under hybe japan!

Aww I loved that Nicholas told Gaku he loves him and hugged him :') I liked that he did it in secret and not publicly tell his feelings at the fire, its more special that way :')

HIKARU IS LITERALLY SO PRECIOUS I'M CRYING! MAKI AND HARUA TOO :( I love the way Gaku and Nicholas interact ahh and the way yejun randomly goes :0 sometimes! Fuma is truly charismatic, And I'm so proud of our i-land boys too

Man that last scene of them expressing their feelings was really heartwarming.....you can really tell how introverted and reserved Hikaru is.... it must've been so lonely for him....and maki is also someone i can relate to because when I too like someone I tend to be touchy with them alot too..so i tend to think that they might not like me either .....but you can also get harua's side too...it was a very tender moment &AUDITION FIGHTING

This has been more than a year and this is my first time watching this. My gosh! I was also sobbing while they were reading the letter sent by their family, so proud to all of you even though not all of you debuted together but still the experience you had will be your forever treasure.😮

14:38 Hikaru went from being so camera shy that he couldn't look at it directly; which made him awkward. To being comfortable that he's showing us this side of him. I love how we see him and all the members grow and get closer to each other. I also didn't expect him to be a great entertainer, he's funny and knows how to joke around. He is that type of person that just watches from the sidelines, but if you give him the spotlight, he won't disappoint. Excited for the next episode❣️❣️❣️

Maki is so cute! Not only cute, but he can also dance and sing. I think I'm gonna be a fan of this kid. 😅 Harua and Maki are so cute! Their love and hate relationships are so adorable. I thought it was so serious but then, in the end, it's just that they have different personalities. But I think they will get along well soon. 🥰

この頃はあまりYUMA君に注目してなくて、でも今のYUMA君は自分を殴りたくなる位全てが魅力的だと注目してる。特に人のことを自分のことのように喜ぶのが印象的で、今オーディションを見返してるとHIKARU君に「わからない事あったら聞いてね」って声かけるのとか勘が良くて気軽にすっと優し声がけしてて素晴らしかった。

Hikaru is me. I am Hikaru. We are the same. We are one. Just debut can you? Also... Anyone noticed the difference between Mnet and Hybe editing skill? It is way more peaceful watching The howling & Audition than I-Land (or any other competition they did). I honestly doesn't get any panic attack or anxiety this time.

This episode is going to be that retreat part. We will laugh because of their playful sides and enjoy every laughters and smiles they will have. And later on, the emotional part will take place. I think this is going to be that episode that has no official performances for the third mission yet. This is that episode that will make us feel more connected with them emotionally. Again, the retreat that will bring us both laughters and tears. The story that will introduce them to us beyond the stage. And I can't wait to know and love them more.

I felt really glad when Maki and Harua sorted out their differences. I love how Maki felt sorry and somehow distant from Harua but he didn't hesitate saying that he was sorry and even though he didn't do anything wrong, he felt like apologizing. As for Harua, I think I relate to him as I don't like being touchy, but even despite that he gave Maki a hug to make him feel comfortable. This shows that how we can adapt to one another despite our difference if we communicate. I hope their bond grows much more stronger in future.

It makes me happy that K, EJ, Nicholas and Taki made a new friends in &audition. This is giving me I-land vibes😂

Maki and Harua made me cry they're so cute and I'm glad they both talked about it so no one feels hurt. Maki is such a big baby he's so cute

I've never been fond of large numbered groups but seeing all these guys I feel that they should all be together. So I hope that's what happens. Boys, you make everyone proud so keep fighting.

I'm thinking the same thing. Something that I find different from I-Land is the bond between the members and the lack of rivality. Hoping for OT15 debut or at least most of them

maki is so cute in this episode he is really talented he looked like a cute puppy while crying TT my boy I totally understand you my sister and I despite being raised the same and with the same culture I am a stickier person with people I trust but she usually avoid it so I have felt hurt sometimes but it is not her intention it is just her comfort you're a cute person who should be loved by many, i hope all the guys succeed they're so cute and talented actually i wouldn't mind being a fan of a group of 15 people *wink*

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a group of 15 people, too. (As a fan of NCT I'm used to many members...) All of the 15 are likeable and loveable and I'm getting way to attached to all of them already. It'll break my heart to see most of them not making it...

Literally seeing them all together makes me so happy and I’m so glad that everyone got to sit by the campfire, enjoy amazing barbecue, and be able to have a chat all together to where they can hopefully express their feelings and their thoughts. Every single conversation and complement they give each other is so adorable❤️
