Will agree the sound potential of these buds are amazing and I haven't touched my 7hz timeless since. Question: I edit video for work in a noisy office, so have to wear headphones 9 hours a day. Unfortunately I have bad skin…contact dermatitis…which reacts to contact with vinyl and foam, so without grossing you out with medical details, I now need to wear earbuds instead. which earbuds do you think would be best for video editing? I have to be connected to multiple devices. I took my personal Apple earpods in to work only to discover they’ll only connect in conjunction with my Apple account 😫

  • @killaforma
    @killaforma6 ай бұрын

    I told you guys they were amazing, I sent the Sonys and the Technics back because of these, they compete with my wired sets no joke. The only issue I have with them is that I developed an irritation (some kind of an allergy) using the rubber tips and the wings (I had the same thing with the Galaxy buds 2 pro) so I switched to the xelastec tips and "painted" (covered) the wing with silicone and the issue is gone as there are not replacement wings around. Another thing is the app with an account is a good idea in my opinion as I installed it on my dap (Sony A306) and it imported all the personalization into it without having to do all the measurements and calibration again. Update: I changed the tips with the Dunu S&S... Just WAOO, better seal and stability.

    Seems like Denon have finally started using the tech that they acquired when they bought-out Nura. I have a pair of Nuraphones and they do the same personalisation, using tones played into your ears by the device and listening to the feedback from your own ear canal. I wonder how these compare to Nuraphones, as those have an in-ear speaker (buds) surrounded by a larger bass speaker as a closed-headphone design which can also provide vibration to emphasise the bass even more? If Denon found a way to accomplish the same through only an earbud design without compromising the sound of the Nuraphones, I'd be very interested.

    Greatful for this review just got mine! Loving it and you’re right on almost everything! The earbuds are definitely weird to put on and kinda uneasy to remove from the charger. Touch controls are tricky and the double, triple and tap-hold are totally inefficient thus many unwanted changes. Also sometimes they fall off for no particular reasons. Hate filling out the profile too but it’s short and not too demanding The app is a bit confusing as you need to move to different pages Battery is fine really using everything Pearl has to offer on Now everything is just genius work after setting up to your liking. Once you’ve setup ATT Masimo you’re on a heavenly sound ride! These are totally above anything I’ve tested and tried (30+ in 6 weeks). Even my fav 3ANC is below this PerL pro! Loud, clean, audiophile or not PearL Pro does it better I’m starting to doubt Momentum 4 can beat it even if I love M3…. So mainly the earbuds comfort and user touch are questionable other than that: what a Gem! Likely a bit too expensive but again Bose Ultra are $300.00 and the $50.00 difference is surely worth the PerL Pro. XM5, AZ80, Elite 10 are clearly not even close to PerL Pro!

    Again still obsessed with multipoint indicating you don’t care about audio quality. Multipoint can’t switch codecs. So, it must select a codec in common between devices. That’s usually SBC. You don’t pay $350 for these to listen to SBC or AAC. Multipoint is not an audiophile feature. The immersion mode is about the Spatial Audio. I don’t understand why you kept going on about the bass. Bass always changes with the various Spatial Audio (aka immersion) implementations I have experienced. The slider is meant to generate differences in the positioning of the audio objects. The bass is just a casualty of this. You can fix it with EQ. No acknowledgement of the history of these buds and how they’re pretty much over two years old now. They are rebranded NuraTrue Pro with literally zero changes. Still based on the QCC5171 launched in 2021.

    Please explain how any BlueTooth bud can be 'audiophile'.

    Codecs like LDAC allow for fairly uncompressed audio transmission, allowing the characteristics of the driver to shine. “Audiophile” earphones typically feature higher quality drivers and prioritize signal quality and resolution. I like to use my wired Sony M9’s with a high-bitrate LDAC Bluetooth transmitter and find that the quality of the audio is still exceptional to my ear, thus being “audiophile” Bluetooth earphones.

    These support the newest codecs. Won't please every audiophile, but almost every audiophile I know has some tws products and use them a lot. I would not pay $350 for any earbuds that are guaranteed too be in landfill in 2-4 years. But many do.. I feel like I can get 85-90 percent of the quality for $100 or less

    These compete with all of my wired sets, S12, Hexa, IE200, Kato and B2 Dusk. The bass, the instrument separation and the clarity and it's a single dynamic!

    Excellent review, so it’s expensive, not comfortable, battery life not as advertised and sound not that good out of the box. Guess I will pass.
