It reminds me of a "chamber music" set up, just a couple of instruments and someone singing in a small room, very intimate, very clear, meant for listeners who were sitting only a few feet away. Totally absorbing and transporting. I like it very much.

Sounds delicious like steak cooked over a fire, perhaps someone might call valves primitive like that meal but it is so humanly satisfying. Looks like single ended Class A but what are those output tubes? The first amp's tubes remind me some of the short-lived 8417 but the later pics are almost certainly very old Triodes, no? Very nice. Thx.
