Audio-Technica AT-LP5X Unboxing and Installation
The AT-LP5X is a fully manual direct drive turntable constructed of anti-vibration damping materials with heavy-mass metal chassis inserts. It comes with the AT-VM95E Dual Moving Magnet stereo cartridge mounted on the AT-HS6 headshell. The 5 mm thick rubber-damping mat is really substantially as it isolates from low frequency feedback while providing a highly stable surface for all LP formats. At S$548, this is priced as an affordable turntable for serious vinyl listeners. Some assembly is required, as shown in my video.

I'd go for 120 if the price is the same. It has more playback controls.
Hi will like to know this TT when stop playing will it auto off power by itself?
Thumbs up. Thanks for posting. Question: I am trying to decide between a fully automatic turntable or a manual one, since it is for my wife. From what I remember, you could always use that little lever on the side to lift the arm, then move it over the record and then use the lever to lower it again. You can still do that, right? I ask because my wife is a bit "clumsy" and putting the arm on the record manually is not ideal, if you know what I mean... Thanks.

Hi! Thanks for reading. Automatic turntable like LP60 does not come with a tonearm lift lever. You operate with buttons to lift up and drop the tonearm. Almost all manual turntables come with the tonearm lift lever.

The Audio-Technica AT Lp 5x is a truly great phonograph. I have owned mine for about 1 and 1/2 years. If you are looking for a manual direct drive turntable with a magnificent sound quality, I highly recommend to you the Audio-Technica AT Lp 5x

Any hum from the turntable at all or audible noise from the motor?

The motor is completely silent. No hum from turntable.

Full metal build, heavy and stable. The thick slip mat is a great sign of substance, and upgrading the cartridge will reap excellent sound. Versatile output including USB, phono and pre-amp.

Yes, it has built-in pre-amp, which can be bypassed if you have your own photo stage.
Hello, can you help me please? Mine arrived today, its connected as said in manual but doesnt start spinning. blue light shows and after 10 sec turns red flashing. Please help

Hi! Sounds like you need to contact warranty support. The direct drive should be faulty.
