I don't know who uploaded this, if greek or not. But I just want to say thank you. It has been 3 years since the last time I managed to go back home and have the pleasure to listen to this concert. Since I found this video I can sleep like a baby again, although I am 2,500 kilometers away

@@normanquednau this type of cicada lives in the entire Mediterranean. I also heard these sounds in Italy, Rome

I love the sound of cicadas. I visited Greece a few years ago, and this is all I heard everyday. Although it was kind of loud, it was peaceful and brings back some great memories. Makes me want to go back. Such a beautiful and an amazing wildlife spectacle to witness too.

​@@proeuropean5703no because there are hundreds of different cicada spieces around the world and each with its own different sound. This of the video it's the mediterranean cicadas which is the same in all mediterranean places but not in the rest of the world.
