I’m my golf you have to open inner fender to access bumper screws. Un clip bumper enough to get the screw out of the headlight assembly. Silly 😜 set up

Good video, just changed all of mine to LED. I found it was easier to take the light out also. Easier to inspect the wires .

My xenon bulbs came through amazon from Italy within 24hrs ^^ And yes, original Osram bulbs. Took the complete units out though, was way easier to change them that way.

Do i have to change the ballast if I want to upgrade to the high intensity xenon light

Hey naptowntuner, I have ea888 gen2. 185k mi. Compression test result is 115-120 all cylinder. Should I buy used engine or get it re-build? Oil consumption wise gotta add a qt every 1500mi. Valve stem seals are bad. Probably do timing chain and new crank case too if rebuild. What do you think?

Agreed, light housing on these is dumb. The 2 bulb running lights below it are even more of a pain with plastic reach tool in the housing 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Hi I replaced my headlights on my q5 they come on then turns off after 2 minutes do you know why?

I found this job easier to remove the headlight from the car first.

If you upgraded to leds it could need resistors. Would also give the light warning since the computer thinks something is off
