Audi S6 Milltek Non-Resonated Exhaust H-Pipe vs APR X-Pipe

This video is meant to compare the difference in sound between Milltek's H-Pipe vs APR's X-Pipe on a Milltek Non-Resonated Exhaust. This exhaust does not have rear mufflers or valves so it is technically a Milltek Non-Resonated Exhaust with Rear Muffler Delete. Comparing (H-Pipe Mid Section) versus (X-Pipe Mid Section).
The rear muffler delete would be the same as straight piped rear mufflers, or Milltek’s valved system with the valves in the open position. Sound should be the same for S6 or S7.

APR sounds way more my tone. Deeper grunt to it. Milltek can sound a little hollow/tinny.

APR sounds amazing! I might buy it. I don't get why so many people go with the Miltek, in my country atleast

Just to clarify, it is a milltek Exhaust with an APR X pipe installed in the midsection. APR whole exhaust does sound good but Milltek is where it’s at on this platform for me.

I like H much more, lower more evil sound and much more pronounced induction noise which reminds me supercars like R8

Milltek makes it sound broken
Curious where did you find the Milltek exhaust, I have been looking everywhere for this type exhaust. I have a 17 A6.

I have SRM intakes and I sure as hell don't hear my turbos spoolin? What gives? Are you tuned?

Nope! No tune at all. You should hear yours with the windows down? it may just be the air intakes sucking in air, but it sounds like turbo spool to me. and you can hear the wastegates coming off boost.

@@adamiscoo4 DUH,,,, you are absolutely right, turn OFF THE DAMN MUSIC and roll down the windows...... OMG, the sweet sweet sound it sings! I'm sitting on two TTE turbos and a host of other toys to go on it. I'll post when it's done. Thanks for responding

@@adamiscoo4 For now, just SRM intakes and the Miltek exhaust with RS 6 downpipes. At some point I'll have TTE turbos, Mac sensor, Tial waste gates Auto tech dual fuel pump 4 bar sensor, stage 2+ tune SRM high pressure fuel pumps APR boost cooler. Had to fire two local tuners, greed among local tuners is rampant.. So I have to take it to Maryland to get the rest of it done.

What are this end pipes?

The tips at the end are Milltek’s GT100 tips in black cerakote. 100mm. The rear section of the exhaust is without mufflers or valves.
H pipe is the way to go, better for low end torque, X pipe you get drone and Little🤏 HP gain at high rpms. Fuck the sound, I want my car to pull W's

To each their own my man. I’ve been eyeing down the Milltek for this car well before I bought it. I Never entertained the APR exhaust. I agree the H pipe sounds a little rough but the X pipe is 👌🏻 for me

@@adamiscoo4 H pipe is suppose to make a V8 rumble lol… most v8’s (not high revving like RS4/5 sound better with H pipe.
