@@ToeCutter69 You're right, it's not much better than the Audi Sport exhaust I have on my new RS3. If it was a couple of grand, maybe, but five grand for such a small improvement, no way.

@@ToeCutter69 yep, and in the US the rs sports exhaust is only around 1-2k added on the order for the car. Definitely not worth the akraprovic in comparison

@@ToeCutter69 I've had my RS3 for a year now and is has the optional Audi sport exhaust. It's actually for louder and is now even giving out the odd crackle and pop. I think people are too quick to dismiss the stock system. It was the same with the TTRS I had, that improved a lot over time. The Akrapovic is way too expensive for very small gains in sound and sound quality.

Is this full legal for EU beside the valves control ?

Try driving the new one, it is way better on every level. I've owned all iterations, right up to my new 8Y RS3 and it's the best RS by a mile. The older cars were quite poor in comparison.

It's fully homologated slip-on system. OPF back.

Why tf don’t we get the sportback

Sounds so good that if I was out and about and I heard that noise and turned, I would be disappointed its just a hatchback.

What I hate, (which is true to most OPF-cars) is that is absolutely no sound at idle. Nothing!

No worthy sound. Another downpipe including removal of OPF/GPF will make this RS3 singing loud. Still waiting for ECU crack.

They Destroyed the Rs3 when it comes to sound this days old is way better than new

Don't be daft. Destroyed? Have you even driven one? Thought not. It's only at low revs where it is muted and that's a good thing in my opinion. Not everyone wants to sound like stupid boy racer. Had my new RS3 for 4 months now, love the sound of it - just right from the cabin and not too loud that you look like a some tosser looking for attention. I owned the previous RS3, pre OPF and I hated the stupid bangs and farts it made. The new RS3 is more of a grown ups car and it sounds just so, lovely. Try driving one... and you'll also notice a night and day difference in handling/performance compare the rather lame car it's replaced.

Great car, great color, meh exhaust. AWE sounds better imho. AWE makes some of the best out there today for almost anything they put their hands on. European aftermarket exhausts all sound, meh at best.

Copied Elantra N exhausts.

Sounds bang average. Even the s3 8v sounds better imo. Seems like Audi Sport have lost their way 😔

Ooh that’s a bit of a stretch - the 4 pot in the s3 sounds terrible. The s3 can be loud but loud doesn’t mean it sounds good. You’re right to an extent - the rs3 should sound better than it does. The rs sports exhaust makes a negligible difference to sound in the 8y sadly.

Not good for me. Bah… sound low than megane Rs trophy … bah….

I have driven RS3 with MT exhaust 460hp, 580nm and I was very impressed by the MT's exhaust - wow loud beast. BTW Akrapovic is louder and have more pops than MT so... You should hear the exhaust irl then ;)

Too expensive, power gains are negligible, and it's not a full titanium system, and it's not sounding great, as for so these pops and bangs etc, it's just not worth it , turbos fecked in no time, was the same with als years ago, great in a world rally car, rebuilt or swapped out after every event, at the teams expense, but on road cars, forget it, unless you like scaring pensioners, pedestrians, no one who knows is impressed guys , just grow up eh ❤️
