Been meaning to get one of those bad boy for ages but keep forgetting lol. The auto up/down shift can be annoying as sometimes kick in when you're doing a gear shift and you end up with 2 gears difference.

I just got my Audi A3 2019 and whenever I put it in manual mode I put it in sport too, well sometimes I notice when I first downshift it from 5th to 4th it stutters and won’t shift down for a second or two then works fine. No warning lights or nothing just a strange occurrence where it seems hesitant to downshift even from 4th to 3rd or 2nd as well, I try to let off the gas between shifts but I don’t think that helps.. just want to know Is that normal? Like maybe the oil isn’t hot yet? Edit: it only happens once then goes back to normal and only the 3rd shift down right after putting in manual mode.. thanks

You got a really unique Audi. With that shifter and MMI, It's like a b8.7 (hybrid between b8.5 and b9 lol)

Bruce, Is there a way to do it with VCDS?! I remember missing around with DSG module in VCDS and never saw the upshift option if I’m not mistaken? I have a B8.5 S5 btw!

Hey Bruce i got questions if you dont mind answering …but with all these modifications that you have on the car, do you have any mods as far as an upgrade to your transmission? Like the clutch/flywheel? Is it Stock and if so are all the mods that you’ve added work perfectly with no strain to the transmission?

Our car is good for 450 torque, no issues, you get get more horsepower with stronger internals, but the trans can’t go past 450 , out it will start slipping, I actually down tuned my torque for that reason, but for manual, you should probably upgrade the clutch, but the fly wheel is fine

Yeh there the same wheel, unless they had the virtual cockpit, then you may have extra buttons, but to be safe I would have ask them to send a picture

Integrated engineering has a zf8 tune that fixes this if you dont have a dsg

So if you have it in D or S you still need to upshift yourself? What about automatic downshift?

good questions, for me it took away my limiter at 3k rpms, when doing this, some cars have different features, but sprint booster helps also

You sure obdeleven works long as you have an obd port

It’s obvious you haven’t dyno’d your car. If you had you’d know it’s making ZERO power at the automatic up shift point. If anything you’ll want to shift EARLY for maximum performance.

Redline is extreamly bad for the engine. I prefer the normal setting.
