Dyno with Autoblog is 331 ft pounds of torque and 336hp at wheels. Audi is really underating this engine. Based on 20% lose of power at the wheels, it's pushing 400hp at the crank. 4.4 sec 0-60 at 3800lbs, this is one amazing car for the money. Pushing M3, 911 territory for 53k base price in Canada.

This is inarguably one of the best car reviews I have ever seen. Well crafted and beautiful!

Best review yet!!!!!! This guy cand make a gold out of a coal through his presentation....this audi was looking like Ferrari when he was reviewing it...amazing!!!

I simply love the way the guy in the red checks shirt presents every car.. His style and choice of words are fabulous! I'm his fan. (Whats his name?) The camera work and background music is also something that just blows my mind.

Thats correct. What Charles has mentioned here is having a Full Manual mode where the auto wont trigger in :)

btw, @powerdriftofficial, you don't have to shift the gear selection lever to left to use the steering paddles to shift gears. The S4 can be in full Auto mode, and you can still use the steering paddle shifters to shift up/down.

This review is bound to give heartache to those who don't have 50 lakhs handy (Including me). Please bring in a review of a cheaper car soon so that we can solace ourselves. Terrific review once again. You guys are the best.

You guys r just giving drilling depth reviews.. Awesome and also hatsoff to camera n editing teams.. Never encountered of much of info from other auto review channels..

The S Audi Series are their Performance series of cars. Substantial increase in performance, and engine power. S4 - 333HP, A4 is 211. S4 is a V6, turbocharged. A4 is an inline 4. Specifically about S4, it is a great car to drive. Very unassuming. I love it when folks next to me in other so called performance vehicles get smoked :-)

@CharanBalakrishnan I agree about that. On a related note, this car has a good 4WD system. How does it compare to a BMW? I imagine it won't be as electric in response but it must be better than the system one gets on a regular A4.

PowerDrift i did reach out and wanted to book. But the new bombay dealership was not even aware of how and what the final landing costs would be. I had to educate them and help piece it together. What's worse, they showed no interest in pursuing it and i didnt even get a call back on how and when the CBU can be arranged. None available for test drive too. I sort of gave it up since i felt, if sales guys are so clueless, will the service guys be simply marvelling n staring at the bonet not knowing what to do?

Brilliant review guys! I drive a 335i....would love to see a comparison of 335i vs S4....

Nice review, but i am sorry to say.. i sometimes feel like you guyz are more favorable towards Audi than BMW... BMW on the other hand is a perfect car and is known for its better handling.. A near perfect 50:50 ratio... Audi on the other hand makes cars from Volkswagen platform and uses Skoda seats and clutch which intern turns out to be cheaper than BMW... I guess BMW is the only brand to have conditional based service among the 3 German luxury cars

Just a nitpick. You mention in your review that all Audis have longitudinal engines. They don't. Your average A4 has an transverse engine and is front wheel drive. Only the cars based on the MQB platform (erstwhile A4 3.2FSI, the A4 3.0TDI and the R/S4) have longitudinal engines.

pity that this video doesnt have 100k views.. by far the best video in pd the bgm camera description passion all a cut above!

Audis are generally not known to be driver's cars WHEN compared to the beemers, say the A4 Vs the 3 series. Would you say this changes that perception?
