Yeah, but even in a recent podcast he told Brian Shaw. That he only does that further out of the contest. Close to a contest he does actually the opposite, he tries to make the opposite think he has no chance, demolish his confidence. Making him think he has already won only makes sense further out when there is a lot of time to train.

I don't see the the Larratts trying to intentionally build up James's confidence the day before the match. The only possibility the Larratt fans can hope for is that they still think it is a mismatch and want to keep the intrigue going for the match and make a potential Auden win look more legit. But the James looks legit strong here.

i mean bro james in his teens won or almost won a IPF meet (powerlifters from around the globe) in his teens before or maybe at the start of all his steroid usage (obv dont know when he hopped on) bro has some good strength genetics and it doesnt take a brain to tell hes a very intellectual guy who will most likely not train stupidly. Auden may have gained a fuck ton of weight but it take some time to fill in your shoes (strength wise) so unless hes somehow able to just put 100% of his bodyweight on that table i dont see him taking it. But who fuckin knows im a casual.
