he's not amazing, if he was he would've done the minimal research on her before this interview to know that she's famous for her dance skills and could teach Megan a lot more than Megan could teach her when it comes to dance moves. He also did so little research that he obviously thinks there's a full solo album coming from her, even though it's just these 2 songs and the SG collab for now. He failed at the basics. Stop drooling and focus on the content of the interview. Zach Sang can run circles around this guy as an interviewer because he comes prepared.

I'm so proud of her,she has grown up and became a mature woman,I feel like a mother proud of a her child even though I'm still younger than her ,and can we talk about her voice the way she talk 🙈🙈🙈🙈

For each language she speaks, she has a really different voice. Her English voice is so sexy, omg! She's doing so well speaking it. And she's so cute and humble. Not to mention her laugh, ugh! Love her!

She speaks English so well! She needs to speak more in BLACKPINK group interviews! Love her so much!

I think the reason she doesn’t speak is because she may feel that there are 2 other, more fluent English speakers.And sometimes it looks like they give themselves “roles” like Jennie and Rosé speak in English while Lisa and Jisoo speak in Korean during international interviews (this could be for many reasons, maybe so Jisoo isn’t left out as the only one speaking Korean or maybe because Lisa wasn’t so confident….this is just an assumption don’t take it as a fact) As a result she steps back for them to speak on the group’s behalf. I am so glad for these solo projects. I feel like if they were no solo projects, we would have never got to see this side of Lisa. I thank fans too for supporting her so much so that she got to land herself with these interviews, 2 months after her solo debut. It could have all ended 2 months ago but fans kept going👏 Let’s not forget the host (Bru) for making her so comfortable too.

@@nortons7040 yeah but how would the interviewer know this? I have seen how Lisa is sometimes caught off guard when the interviewer directs a question towards her. She starts looking to her members and her members encourage her to answer. So your observation could be true but it would be very dumb of YGE to place a policy on who speaks in interviews without warning the interviewer about it. I think they have a natural flow and they know when to step back to allow each other to speak. Even when the interviewer directs questions to Jisoo…she tries her best to express herself in English. But if the interviewer never directs Lisa or Jisoo….they would stay quiet for the whole of the interview while allowing the 2 more fluent English speakers to speak on their behalf.

@@whoknowsme27 IDK what Asian rules for interviews and how they distribute time. Usually interview questions are preliminary agreed with the interviewees and their labels and maybe Asian interview rules have something to do with girls' age, nationality, popularity inside South Korea, etc. So Lisa might be freaked out when those preliminary set rules are broken. Moreover in collectives there are always dominant person, who likes to speak most. That's why collective interviews suck. If you want to know person deeply, you need to interview him or her personally.

2 things 1. HOST IS AMAZING!!! 2. You got Lisa to talk about her mum, her cats and her country! You have earned my respect for treating our girl soo nicely! Lots of love!

We all know that English is not Lisa's first language. Lisa might feel anxious about this situation. For this reason, I thank to the host. He is so good. Without blabbering, he insists Lisa to speak more and more. So, the interview session went well. Loved it!

Lisa talking is really calming and you will only listen to her while smiling the whole time.

The guy here is so soft and comforting; like the way, he paid attention and interest in our lisaya's talks it made her comfortable enough to share things in a language that she doesn't speak often. plus his smile made the environment so cheerful like some positive energy around which overcame the nervousness and brought flow to the convo

good that her labels are finally promoting her, her song really just made it on its own

And not to be rude or anything, but my friend has naturally red face, and people are saying that he (the interviewer) is blushing, but he actually isn't. People already started being delusional... Anyways, this was one of the best interviews, he made sure that he didn't ask Lisa some awkward questions etc... But my forever favorite interview is with Woody and the Indonesian interview (i forgot the name, sorry 😭).

@@TK-hs4sw I don’t think that’s the case. YGE was strict with her speaking English because they wanted her to Learn Korean as soon as possible. They prohibited everyone around her from communicating in English with her (tough love). Jennie and Rosé are Koreans so they didn’t have this strict rule because they could speak Korean. Lisa doesn’t have a Korean background so she had to learn to adapt quickly. I hope this makes sense. I don’t like YGE either but I wouldn’t say that he only allowed Jennie and Rosé to speak English and was only strict with Lisa. Also, it’s likely that Rosé and Jennie were breaking this rule with Lisa (the no speaking English with her), that’s why she always talks about how close she is with them, especially Rosé.

Her english is getting better day by day. Sound sooooo good....

English has always been her 2nd language but after learning Korean in a harsh/strict way, korean has became her 2nd language and english kind of become a forgotten language.😁Anyway, just like cyclying, English is something you can never forget once you learnt it.

Thanks Audacy that made Lisa feel so comfortable, eventhough she is not so fluent speaking english but his questions not too difficult for understanding, answering and listening. She can stay calm and cool in conversation, showing more her english skill ever. This period is matter for her promotion and support from FC to get to know her more.

Lisa gives a very different vibe speaking English and being by herself without bp. This is so refreshing to see.

as an interviewer he didn't do his homework, seems to think these 2 songs are part of some imaginary forthcoming full solo album instead of the obvious traditional single release YG does for their female idols. He doesn't seem to know much about Lisa's legendary dance skills, seeming to think Megan could teach her...what, Megan's one move twerking??? I didn't expect him to know about her cat hoarding or interest in photography, but he could've known more of the basics. I wasn't expecting him to deep dive with questions like the Hot Ones guy, but this could've been better. Most western interviewers aren't that good at interviewing Kpop idols. Can't wait for Zach Sang interview, he knows what he's talking about in his Kpop interviews and did a great job with BLACKPINK multiple times.

However, like you said, western interviewers in general aren’t that good at interviewing Kpop idols, but that being said, I don’t think he did bad. I’ve seen far worst. Maybe he was nervous, who knows. It’s not everyday he gets to interview literally one of the biggest superstars in Kpop right now. He seemed interested in what Lisa had to say, he was a good listener, he kept the conversation engaging, he was funny, and all though it may not have been perfect, he did his best. Imo. Zach Sang in general is in a lane of his own. He is not even comparable to the rest. That man can literally interview ANY AND EVERYONE. I’m not into Kpop but I’ve seen all the Blackpink interviews he’s done and you could really see how comfortable they are with him. In fact, he’s one of my favorite interviewers. 💯💯✨

Just love it how lisa is able to express herself in english confidently.

She is a culture vulture and needs to leave my culture alone. The way her title track and collab flopped but the song that sounds like a cardi b reject didn't speaks a lot. This girl has no talent. Can't sing and can't rap without blaccent.

I love this radio interview!! The host is interactive and Lisa seems comfortable with him. Finally I can see more Lisa's interview where she can state her opinion and not getting cut of the video. Thank you so much 😍

The ways she talk slowly and steady is such a soothing voice.

It's nice to see Lisa's confidently giving an interview in English, in this length and alone! This should strengthen Lisa's self-confidence to speak more in English without the help of the girls. :)

so?… doesn’t mean that she’s fluent, she needs a little bit more vocabulary, i can notice when she’s trying to explain something, but again she’s advanced. But she’s fluent in corean and obviously in Thai, and she also can speak Japanese but not fluently

Man, Lisa is so humble, soft, genuine and down-to-earth. For each language she speaks, she has a really different voice and texture. Her voice is so sexy, omg! She is speaking so good. And she's so cute and humble. Not to mention her laugh, ugh! Love her!

Her voice and accent though! She has really improved her English and elevated her confidence in speaking the language. I'm so proud of her and her achievements.

Yep, but when she was young her English was better than this. Idk why maybe it's because she doesn't talk as much as she does when she talks to her dad at home and school.
