Change the electrical over to 12 volt.. Very simple; just change the coil to an internal 12 volt; light bulbs of course.. Your starter will handle 12 volts all day long.. Put in a gm single wire alternator and good to go.. I did that to my 641.

Increase the fuel in your idle to stop the motor from galloping.

Ford made good little tractors. It’s good to see old iron run again

I use our 801 and jubilee all the time. I like the old stuff. Thanks for the comment!

That is not a 641 model.. 641 tractors did not have large spindle nuts on the rear tire axle stubs.. Your tractor also does not have the correct rear fenders.. THe fenders you have would be from a model 640 or NAA. Check the model number on the flywheel housing right beside the serial number.. A 641 tractor was mfd between 58-60.. It would have a live PTO wide front axles and 4 speed tranny.. The dead give away is the rear spindles axle nuts as the 640 and 641 models did not have these laege nuts typical of the N series..

Thanks for the information. Others are right with you. At the time I didn't know. But im guessing its a naa. I sold the tractor before others had commented to check the numbers.

Just going to say that ain't a 641 work master that is a 1954 naa ford notice the axle nuts on the rear tires where the lug nuts are that's the same as the golden jubilee ford the 641 don't have axle nuts in the center the axle where the lug nuts are are flat on them

Sounds like you have manifold leak. Real important forthese not to have manifold leak.

Brand new tires on there, rattle-can paint job ... this was someone's rebuild so the typical worn out hard parts are likely already replaced. Just a matter of the typical issues battery, carb, points. Keep it running and back to work. Old iron fed a nation for fifty years and can do it again for another fifty. Looks like it can use the steering box adjusted tighter and/or bushings from king pins, axle center pivot, and steering ball joints; lots of wobble in that one front tire, won't be a big problem if driving around the farm but any high speed road travel can be frighteningly twitchy.

At some point someone had spruced it up. It ran and functioned pretty good. I swapped the rear wheels and tires onto my jubilee. Older gentleman bought it and drove it home. Thanks for watching and commenting!
